If you want to worry about someone killing you, it's probably not an Islamic terrorist.

Wonder what Trump will do to make American safe again, from; lightning, lawnmowers, buses, and our own beds?  Could there be some type of conspiracy going on?  What is it we need to stop "until we can figure out what is going on around here?

As a pfc you just do not see or get the big picture.

You seemed to overlook the category " Being shot by another American".

Making America safe again not only refers to foreign terror but internal ( or as some call it domestic) issues such as
11,737 Americans shooting other Americans. That is part of keeping America Safe Again stopping violence/murder within. That would be referred to as part of his Domestic policy.

So considerate of you to break it down for me.  Now, would you also explain to me in detail, how Trump expects to do something about it?

If you really want to play with the big boys, then you must, not only spew someone else's statistics but also some degree of analysis that purports to do something about them.

Or, are you just another blowhole like Trump, trying to impress us with something you know nothing about?  Just let me know if I am expecting too much of you.  Your previous posts were slightly below 5th grade level.  Maybe you will surprise me this time.

Personally I'm tired of sitting in traffic, and waiting in line at the DMV.

And making virtually no sense, as usual.  And, yes, I do understand what you wrote.  But it's just monumentally dumb.  Yep, those 10,000 Syrian refugees will be clogging up traffic everywhere.  I suggest you buy one of these

Not me,  I don't believe in clogging the sidewalk either.

A couple thoughts...

1 - Fifteen years ago today, this would not even have been a conversation. Today, it is a topic in headlines on a daily basis somewhere in the world.

2 - Ten years is a good solid time frame, but the notations indicate the time span is 2005-2014. Add in 2015-2016 and these numbers will change drastically.

3 - An armed toddler can potentially kill one or two people accidentally. A suicide-bomber can take out dozens and injure hundreds at one time.

4 - The title was "Number of Americans killed annually by."
Tell me why they did not include drunk drivers or cigarettes in their list? Context is appropriate.

5 - Sunday is September 11, 2016.

Has anyone else taken note of North Korea's successful nuclear test? They have the capability to launch a nuke at the West Coast of the US, let alone South Korea or Japan. AND they have an operating agreement with our new besties in Tehran. Just Sayin'

1) I doubt adding in 2015-16 would really make much of a difference and would like you to display the result.
2) 15 years ago today was a different world and not a valid basis of comparison.
3) Yes.
4) Good point.  Would like to see that.
5) And?
Last, I agree that North Korea has the capability "to launch a nuke at the West Coast of the US."  What they don't have is the ability to actually deliver it there.  None of their tests have demonstrated a weaponized nuke that will fit on top of an ICBM. If you have information to the contrary, the CIA would love to talk to you.

1 - For starters, San Bernardino - 14 dead 17 injured / Orlando 40 dead 53 injured -- I'm not including the horrors in Europe and Asia and nobody here but me gives a fuck about Israeli children stabbed to death in their sleep.
2 - Why? Everything changed on 9/11/01.

My own personal experiences with Arab terrorism began in December 1964 when I was witness to and in the vicinty of a terrorist attack in Jerusalem. December 1964.
But America didn't get its first real home grown taste of terror until 1993, the first time Osama bin Fuckface tried to take down the Towers. That's when I would start paying attention to the world trends wrt Islamic terrorism. Not the arbitrary 2004-2014.

3 - Good of you to sidestep the actual point.
4 - And good of you to acknowledge this point.
5 - Just making a connection in context.

Jake we are not on opposite sides here. But I do believe the truth of the statistics must include current events, and not be limited to data that is two years behind the times. In this era of instant anything there is no reason not to incorporate current on the spot information into the total picture.

And from where I sit, the increase in terror attacks against Americans is starting to rise and rise exponentially.

As for North Korea, as of yesterdays news, yes, they do indeed have that capability now.
You can call the CIA yourself, they've already told me I don't exist.

1) Thank you for making my point.  If you add the 14 dead in San Bernardino to a ten year average it goes up by less than 2.  Why not take it back to 9/11 and add in the approximately 3,000 folks killed that day?  Point being, you can make any point you want by changing the parameters of the discussion.
2) See point #1.
3)  How in the world did I "sidestep the actual point" by answering "Yes?"  I was agreeing with you fer Chrissakes!
As for North Korea, yesterday's news does NOT make your point.  They seem to have demonstrated they can build a bigger bomb.  They have yet to demonstrate they can turn it into a deliverable weapon or have a delivery vehicle capable of getting said weapon to the US.  If your ability to analyze data like this is no better than you're demonstrating with N.K. I'm not surprised the CIA is ignoring you.  But perhaps you missed my distinction between "launch" and "deliver".
Last, I'm well aware of the terrorism to which Israel has been subjected and disagree with attempts to make it into a pariah state.  At the same time, I strongly dislike Netanyahu and Likud.  It may be hard for some to understand this but the two positions are not mutually exclusive.

JakeFromStateFarm167 reads

This will give you some perspective on what yesterday's test meant and what the actual capabilities of N. Korea's nuclear program are at this time.
I think we can both agree North Korea is a danger to the region and the world and needs to be contained. I am concerned that China, despite its words, is of no use at all in constraining them.  So the question is, what can we do short of war?

1 - I think we're looking at the apples and the oranges.

You're looking at the average. I think I'm focusing more on the increasing numbers as time goes by, and more and more radicalizes individuals are making their marks.

2 - ditto:)

3 - yes you agreed with me. than ks:) my actual point however, was that the numbers can change drastically in an instant. The ratio of potential killing from a suicide bomber is far greater than that of a child with a loaded weapon, though no more or less tragic.

Re: NK - launch versus delivery is only a matter of time, imho when it comes to that looney Un. But yes, I did not distinguish between launch and delivery. And as long as we remain quiescent, they will continue to push the envelope.Just like the Shiite-eaters in Tehran.

As for Bibi and Likud vis a vis the UN and BDS efforts at de-legitimization, yes I do know the difference. And I know you do as well. It's those laughable moochers and numbered cretins we contend with in here that are clueless to the difference, resulting in their darker preferences coming to the surface.

Will it ever happen again?  LOL!

...is the plural form of "child."  How many "children" have been stabbed to death in their sleep other than the 13 year old American citizen this past June?  You're starting to use the hyperbole and exaggeration of your boy Trump.
