      Except that, um,  your troll campaign against Liorr was not particularly successful, was it? - all it accomplished was to get him to resign from the Sports Board and start posting here full time.

        And why in the world would you care if other people read the posts of someone you don't like? Why can't you just not read his posts if you find them so offensive?

     As with Liorr, the solution is always the same - try to bring this poster into the community rather than boycott him.

& you're cleary engaging in what you've condemned me for-----If you don't like the suggestions stated in my OP, just ignore them.

I don't particularly like Benlanger's posts anymore then you do, but as a TER member he has the right to speak his mind. He is usually on topic anyhow. We also have the right to respond to his posts as we see fit.

I am not saying that we have to take marikod's position as we all know that he is a flower child, pacifist, and Muslim sympathizer. His campfire died out long ago.

Stop the policing and let everyone else decide who they want to shun and who they don't.

and a very good internal locus of control. What that basically means is that I don't let outside influences override by ability to regulate my thoughts, emotions and behavior, in opposed to trying to control everyone else around me to suit my needs to do so. Give it a try sometime!

I will confess to agreeing with Pri about putting ben on permanent ignore, even though Pri spends an inordinate amount of time playing "whack a troll" it doesn't mean that he is wrong 100% of the time. Ignoring ben doesn't seem like a bad idea to me. Truth be told I already ignore him/her, and I think Marikod is delusional if he thinks that ben can be "rehabilitated" into an actual contributing member here, ben has not posted a single post of any merit whatsoever, and is as worthless to this board as is xfean.

Really, why in the hell are we giving Pakistan our tax money? It is well known fact that Pakistan is playing s double game. We pay $2 billion a month or thereabouts for transit rights, use of their facilities in addition to military hardware some of which ends up in the hands of our enemies.

Pakistan's economy is in shambles, civilian government is useless, violence on the street where people are getting killed daily, don't have the will to arrest and punish the Mullah's stroking violence. Terrorist leaders they arrest are the ones the ISI has no use or are not dancing to their tune, don't like America or Americans, majority believe that all of Pakistan's terrorism is caused by America so why in the hell are we giving them money every month and more money while they don't deliver squat.

If we want to win this war, make Pakistan move and do things we want them to do, otherwise cut off the money and move in ourselves. We are not going win in Afghanistan without demanding results.

Afghani's hate Pakistan for more reasons than one. So, you cannot summarily say that someone is baseless when you do not know the base yourself.

Do I want us to win this war, absolutely. Would we win this war, not likely; because the history tells otherwise and our strategy of placating by telling Pakistan they are the most important ally, giving them enormous amount of money while they continue stab us in the back. President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani cannot make their army do anything, General Kayani does not want to do. On the other hand, Kayani can make the two anything he wants.

In essence; "Pakistan is not a country with a military but a military with a country" so regardless of how much money we give, without real threat and demand from us they are not going to do anything, even with demand and threat, it is highly questionable.
