PS: Before the last election more Republicans than Democrats used mail-in ballots. But lots of them listened to Trump and ended up not voting. He and they shot himself in the foot.

Yes, Mail-in ballots have been used for decades. But nowhere close to the extent that they were used in 2020 due to the china virus. And don't think crooked democrats did not take full advantage of that. I guess you "forgot"

Most the the big Dem players know that now they don’t have control over the narrative like they used to, they don’t want to face an incumbent Kamala because they kills their chances to run for the Presidency themselves, they are no longer able to coordinate like they used to, they can’t cancel and censor those who disagree with them like they could during Covid, and every Republican in the country is watching them expecting them to do something fishy. The risk/reward just ain’t there for them. OTOH, if they wait 4 years a bunch of Democrats have an opportunity to run for President. Shapiro, Newsom, and Whitmer all want the crown. A Kamala incumbency robs them of it. Why stick their necks out for her?

Then she would be an incumbent in 2028, and many hopefuls that would have run against her if Joe had announced before the primary that he was not going to run are faced with the prospect of challenging a sitting prez from their own party or putting off their own ambition until 2032.  If they just RETEND to support her this year, and Kamala loses and Trump is limited to one term, 2028 looks pretty good for them.  It's the smart play to slow walk support for Kamala without openly opposing her candidacy.   If she loses, I predict she will never get another chance because she can't win a primary race.  Can you imagine if she has to flip-flop back the other way next time?   Lol

These dummies on this board might not realize it, but the Dem upper echelon sees Kamala as a liability. Their DEI idiocy demanded they let her run given she’s VP, but the Dems have a lot of hopefuls wanting to grab the Oval Office ring, and in 2028 Trump will be term limited. If Kamala wins it destroys their one chance to become President. An opportunity that for most politicians only happens once in a life time. Add to that they don’t have to defend Biden’s awful record and can instead bitch about Trump.

The Dems know they stole the last election. Now while they are dumb enough to try that twice, the risk of really getting caught has skyrocketed. So if they don’t steal it and Trump wins then they can say, “see, we never stole 2020. Trump winning proves we’re innocent.” And then they can pull out that trick again in the future when people aren’t expecting it.
