But then how could we even begin to evaluate those questions for ourselves since YOU just "hid" behind an alias? LOL
In MY book I hide behind an alias LESS than anyone else on that list.
Once you realize that RWU is NOT a real alias (not anymore than my REAL fake, made-up, cartoon label) you might stop to calculate that my 6 month use of REAL aliases is only about 12%. My record for the last 30 days is a big fat 0.00% (yea ZERO).
My use of an alias is quite clear (at least to everyone I care about). see link. . .

and my 12% aliasing away from RWU, I'm actually SECOND from the bottom.
but I have NEVER used any other alias but GaGambler, on this or any other escort type board.
I don't know what methodology you are using to discern alias posts, but I would suggest you use another method, the one you are using is obviously flawed.
I own every post I make here, the good, the bad, and the occasional stupid one. It doesn't look like you can make the same claim,Mr Alias Poster.I suggest that you get your facts in order.
Oh yeah...Merry Christmas, to whoever the fuck you are.
And I am one of those guys who is confused on this alias thing...When I first saw the post I thought it was a gagambler post since he was at 0%..Now I'm not so sure..Of course if he is really a gambler then it could just be a good bluff.Whoever is figuring the numbers though is off on my account as I always post as quadseasonal since I don't know how to change my alias..doesn't really matter though but it was fun getting a laugh on the politics board..Merry Christmas..
if I have never posted under an alias?
GA Gambler, if I read it as intended, it shows you have Zero alias posts.
The moron who wrote this ridiculous post went back and edited his post after I called him out on it.
YUP
I only have 12% aliasing away from RWU. So I'm actually SECOND from the bottom.

I've made 10-20 alias posts in this forum since I formally changed my userid from MasterZed to DoctorGonzo some years ago.
Methinks you've been dipping into the eggnog a bit much.

Unless you're the moderator and this board doesn't have one, how do you know that so-so has posted under what alias?
Send me a PM and tell me how you know?
He doesn't know, he's simply assuming [and that is correct as far as it goes] that the difference between a usernames' total number of posts and the number of posts accounted for by a search of usernames represent aliases, and that's correct.
Some folks are relatiely easy to spot under an alias. They do not greatly alter the style of their writing or the content/topics. Our friend jack0 is one. I'm easy enough to spot under most of my aliases; all I do is alter punctuation and deliberately misspell simple words.
The real test is : can he accurately identify aliases used by the most fequent posters on this board? I doubt he cares, his interest seems to be in making some other point, which remains unclear.
Why does he care? I'm guessing that he feels people often hide behind aliases to deliver wither personal abuse. And it's been known to happen.
But a kind word always falls upon fertile ground. Perhaps he'll tell us why he's this concerned with the use of aliases if the anger directed at him is allowed to cool. Perhaps he'll also clue us in to his methodoly and how he got the figures he posted.
I DO fess up to the use of several aliases on this board, appx 6 of which i have used more than once. One of which i have used appx 25 times on this board in the previous 6 months [I was surprised that it was so high].
How did you derive your figures? Out of curiosity, I searched my posts for a period of 183 days ending 122507.
At the start of today [122607] I had 276 posts according to the 6 month tally. During the 183 day period, a search by my name pulled 186 posts as XiaomingLover1. There would be slight discrepancies depending upon what day your started your calculations from, but you missed more than half of my brilliant contributions to this forum. What a pity.
Can you enlighten the rest of us how you went about this? You really seem to have struck a nerve here.
If the moron in question had used the methodology that you used, his numbers would have been dramatically different. He originally claimed that almost twenty percent of my posts were alias posts. I have never used any other alias besides GaGambler, I guess I'm too lazy.
Yep, unless i'm mising something either really basic or really specialized, i don't see how he could have gotten the figures he did.
One really jumped out at me - he's got zinaval at 47% alias posting, and AFAIK, because he's stated it several times, zin DOES NOT post under an alias [and I feel zin's good at his word here].
Maybe it's back to the drawing board for our alias-disliking friend?
Ya know, i really don'r see the big deal about aliases -- many are very clever [mine especially], and except for the case of using one to deliver withering personal abuse, what's the biggie?
I'm waiting for her to weigh in with some elaboration.
when i search 180 days
i had to check cuz I have used alias in much the same fashion as X, primarily for comedic effect. I mean come on, does anyone here think BK holds back on the vitriol?
in the past 6 months i've had VIP for maybe 15 days. (that's why i don't return PMail BTW, i don't get it,,,
(((for those of you who were sending me hatemail!!! )))
this dude surely works for the gubbermunt....
I don't know if this pinhead works for the gubbermunt, but he is certainly qualified to. Just FYI 463 of your 492 posts were made under your "real" alias, a far cry from Mr dumbasses' claim that 240 of your posts were alias posts.
I wonder which branch of gubberment he would be best suited for?
NASA?
Bureau of Labor Statistics?
Office Of Mgm't and Budget?
National Weather Service?
CIA?
Gov't Accountability Office [Congress]?
FBI [compiling the Crime Index?]
Centers For Disease Control?
Ah, you get the picture. And we're starting to pile on.

How do you find out how many aliases someone has used??? I really don't think I have used a alias to post but vaguely I remember a bottle of Jack Daniels{I rarely drink} and a alias called whitetrash but using search I can't find it..Perhaps it was only a drunken dream..
