The thing is, its not illegal to sell your time, so "hookers" at least have a defense. There's no way around pot selling. AND the punishment for selling weed is a tad more severe. I agree with you that both should be legal.

It's easy to blame the laws against prostitution and dope on religious pukes. But let's look at the facts.
Who is in the head law enforcement officer in the United States? President Barack Obama.
Has selective enforcement and even non-enforcement of laws been upheld as Constitutional by the Supreme Court? Yes.
Therefore, our President has the right to command his staff to, for example, leave our border undefended against incursion of millions of illegals; and he can only be held accountable for that by the electorate. He need not fear impeachment for failure to enforce our laws. Correct? Correct.
THEREFORE the currently sitting President of the United States, Barack Obama has the power to unilaterally cease the enforcement of all federal drug laws.
YET, he has instructed his personnel to enforce them VIGOROUSLY.
Is Barack Obama a "religious puke?"
If Barack Obama is NOT a religious puke; then maybe we should look deeper and understand that the origins of vigorous enforcement of prostitution and drug laws have zilch to do with religion -- and that religious pukes are just a false flag to draw our attention away from the real bad guys.
Meanwhile, yeah, I find it ironic that someone who likely advertises illegal services on BP would be critical of someone advertising illegal products.

I take it as a personal affront that in a supposedly "free society" not taking steps to ensure your own personal safety is deemed a criminal offense, and one could actually have one's freedom taken away from them for a simple act of ommission in re to their own, (and no one else's) personal safety.
and yes, I do have to reluctantly agree agree, that it's not JUST the religious pukes, although they are an easy, and very guilty target, they are far from the root cause of the larger issue.
