Trump's fake network is garbage!

The linked article (from Fox) says, "“The FBI told me [Feinstein] 5 years ago it had concerns that China was seeking to recruit an administrative member of my Calif staff (despite no access to sensitive information),” Feinstein tweeted. “I took those concerns seriously, learned the facts and made sure the employee left my office immediately.” Also, "“He never had access to classified or sensitive information or legislative matters,” Feinstein said. “The FBI never informed me of any compromise of national security information.”

I can't tell from the article who is claiming that the guy was successfully recruited to be a Chinese spy. It does not seem to be coming from the FBI itself.

Feinstein was long in favor of developing trade and cultural exchanges with China (sister cities, etc.). NIXON got things started with ping pong diplomacy.

More recently, it was Trump who eased trade bans on Chinese tech company ZTE against the recommendations of numerous US government agencies. ZTE may have incorporated spyware into their components to gather government and industrial secrets.
