If Conservatives, Clarence and Ginny have any say.
So Dems can’t be misleading? Seems like every ad the Rep run is misleading.
But I say run that ad on every swing district, not just in Ohio, but everywhere for toe 2024 election. Caption it with all the conservative Superior Court judges who claimed that Roe was standing law. Use this ad, it has a very good message of what the ultimate goal is for Conservatives.
Remind the voters how the Judges all of a sudden “ change” law.
Hopefully the Dems will finally get in the mud with the republican

I guess the grass is always greener on the other side…
...especially this part of his post:
"There is, moreover, no meaningful political movement to ban birth control. Overwhelming majority of elected Republicans oppose doing so."
Where is the link to this so-called "fact?" The only link in his post is a tweet from some rando twit. Not a learned political statesman or a respected political pundit but an anonymous "baseball crank."
You want the facts? You want the truth? OK - here it is:
THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF REPUBLICANS OPPOSE BIRTH CONTROL, NOT JUST ABORTION.
I'm not relying on some Twitter idjit. I'm relying on the fact that ONE HUNDRED NINETY-FIVE House Republicans voted AGAINST a bill called "THE RIGHT TO CONTRACEPTION ACT." Only EIGHT Republicans voted FOR the bill. 195-8? That sounds to me like the overwhelming majority of elected Republicans oppose the right to contraception.
Here's a REAL link:
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/birth-control-contraception-bill-pass-house-vote/
Oh wait, it's from CBS news. Maybe some Republican will say my link is "fake news" and that an anonymous tweet is more reliable.
The so called “Right to Contraception Act” used an overly broad definition of contraceptives, including a drug that could induce a chemical abortion.
It also infringes on religious liberties and could force religious hospitals to provide birth control to patients.
The naming of the bill was a political stunt.
cks175's first link was from some unknown twit on Twitter. His new link is NOT news. It is an OPINION piece by Reagan Escudé Scott for The Standing For Freedom Center.
Who is Reagan Escudé Scott? She is a Christian conservative activist working for Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA. She believes that she is "utilizing the online platform God gave her by pointing young Christians and conservatives to biblical truth." She is reminding Christians "that the problem in our culture is sin, and the only solution is the saving work of Jesus Christ."

What is the Standing For Freedom Center? It exists to uphold the Christian faith. They believe all teachings of Scripture are infallible. They claim: "We honor human dignity, individual liberty, limited government, and free markets."
Sure they do - where's the "human dignity" of a woman so desperate to obtain an abortion that she has to travel hundreds of miles to another state? Where's the "individual liberty" that allows a woman to decide for herself whether to get an abortion? Where's the "limited government" that intrudes on a woman's most personal decision?
http://www.standingforfreedom.com/our-purpose-beliefs/
Hinduism does not ban contraception. Judaism does not ban contraception Islam does not ban contraception.
Yet 195 Republican House members voted against allowing contraception.
Big Papasan's link - CBS News; cks175's links - a twit on Twitter and and a right wing Christian fanatic writing for an organization that would like nothing better than to impose the Christian version of Sharia law on the U.S.
TER says: "Avoid deliberate misinformation." That is exactly what cks175 has posted.
Another Big Fail from Big Papasan. Interesting that the link he cites didn’t cover one Republican on why they opposed the bill, yet they quoted Pelosi, Rep Manning and the White House and then paired it with a click bait headline in an attempt to paint the GOP into a corner. Why would CBS do that? Because they are a biased mouthpiece for the Demcrats.
Notice how Big Papasan attacks the messenger but not the message. That’s because I’ve presented uncomfortable facts that he lacks the ability to deal with intelligently.
Yet in the sentence immediately preceding that he attacked the messenger when he wrote that CBS was: "...a biased mouthpiece for the Demcrats.(sic)" ROFLMAO! Got hypocrisy much?
Every major religion allows the use of contraception. Every major religion EXCEPT Christianity. cks175 and his fellow Republicans would like America to be ruled by the Bible, not the Constitution. That's why cks175 posted the link from his favorite group - Standing for Freedom.
Or maybe cks175 was embarrassed by his first link from some rando twit on Twitter. He had to find a "real" justification for why Republicans were against contraception so he desperately and furiously searched the Internet for someone who would justify a 195-8 vote by Republicans AGAINST contraception. But all he could find was a Bible-thumping right wing nutjob website than wants America to be ruled by Christianianity. Am I right? Is the Pope Catholic? Wait a minute - do the "true" Christians still think Catholics are not Christians. How about Mormons - are they now considered Christians?
Baptists, Presbyterians, Lutherans, the Church of Jesus Christ and Later Day Saints, as well as Jehovah’s Witness all permit contraception as do some other Christian denominations. I see you don't let facts get in the way of your arguments. My, how very Trumpian of you. ![]()
