How does someone go through 49 years of life w/o a birth certificate?

I recall many times, I have been required to produce one. How do you become President and not ever have to show your birth certicifate? I'm not saying he wasn't born here, but its unrealistic to believe anyone can glide through American life without documention.

Once the original is lost, you can only get a certified copy, at least in the state of California.
I believe that is what President Obama has produced.

Riddle me this, matt. If the original is lost, how the hell can you get a certified copy of it?

Btw, I'm not a 'birther', but I still have a few questions about his "Certificate of Live Birth", such as, why is there no signature on it of the attending physician, or any physician for that matter. I've never seen a birth certificate without the certification signature of the doctor that pulled the baby out of the womb.

I was birthed in the bedroom of the family home by a mid-wife, yet Dr. Livingood's signature is on the paper to verify the event.

Never have understood why Obama doesn't just pony up the paper and be done with it.

by providing all the other kinds of documentation you've collected over the years (such as DL, SSN, marriage certificate, divorce papers, etc.). Speaking of which, I need to get my certified copy by next year so I can renew my DL in OR (they don't accept the footprinted copy)!

The Certificate of live birth is what everyone in HI has. its good for a passport and anything that a birth certificate is needed.

Anderson Cooper a few nights ago did an in depth investigation. Even found a Hawaii newspaper article announcing his birth.

The conspiracy nuts just want to make up phony issues.  Yah like the World Trade Center collapse was a government conspiracy.. such lunacy keep popping up regardless of the evidence and science.
