For the last 8 years the Democrats have offered NOTHING.  No ideas, no productive dialogue, no platform...NOTHING!  The reason for this was George W. Bush's 2000 victory.  The Dems were so convinced that the election was stolen that they spent the last 8 years having a temper tantrum; blaming and bad mouthing the President (while approving his policies, military actions, etc.) and never offering any actual alternative.

The result of this is Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Obama.  They simply have no clue.  Pelosi and Reid might be the two biggest lightweights ever to hold leadership positions in Congress.  As our country faces an economic crisis they are literally retreating (see article below).  They act as if they are political pundits and critics and not leaders.  Criticize Bush, cash your check, and call it another day.

Obama keeps using the term "change".  But his version of change is recycled Democratic policies that Mario Cuomo or Walter Mondale could have written.  "Change" from Bush is not enough to inspire confidence.  That is why he is now losing. He offers no actual new ideas.

I'm a Republican but I hope for the sake of the country the Democrats can actually MOVEON past Bush very soon and try to get back in the game and offer something more productive than their anger.
