...an AR-15. Just think how many more people would have been efficiently killed and injured. What's this country coming to? All you cold dead handers should be outraged!
How about we allow guns in Church and other places of worship and the dude who did the stabbing would have thought twice before stepping in the Church premises.

We need "Background" checks and national registration for cutlery of any design. Farberware and its highly paid lobbyists can no longer impede or supersede the democratic process as it has done for too long in America.
Do you think the government can just ban the sale of new ones and leave the 10 million out there? Buy them back at fair market value? 10 mil x $1000+ each (10,000,000,000 or so)? If they dont buy them back for a fair price and just outlaw them I think it makes the situation worse rather than better. Law abiding gun owners will sell theirs for as much as they can get to anyone who has the cash. Most aren't registered so it'd be very hard to prove who sold what to who and charge them with a crime. I'm actually interested in the how, not so much against the idea of it but I dont think it's even remotely possible. If they go door to door searching for them I dont want to be anywhere near it.

Of course what Inicki didn't realize is that you came to the Board in disarray, so there was no change.
But anyway you can be pro Second Amendment and anti- AR 15-47 at the same time.
All we hear is "we have to do something", kind of like the Patriot Act and Obama Care, sometimes doing nothing beats the hell out of going off half cocked. (pun intended)
But why not ban all new sales and manufactures and further ban the ammo. Most of the mass attacks come from young males-let's at least make it a little more difficult for these guys.
Are you trying to stop mass shootings or gun violence in general? Do you really believe that the second amendment could be repealed? Many of our current military, a fair number of our police and many of our military vets believe in the second amendment. Do you think the cost to society would be worth the attempt at banning it? I think 1/1000 gun owners might fight for their perceived rights. Reguardless of the intent of the constitution firearms rights are well ingrained in our population. Banning all ammo and firearms manufacture would be the same as going door to door to searching for guns. Would you be willing to do it? I know cops and military guys who wouldnt.
