How about the present?

HOw about now?
I'm not political and I don't care for it or about it.
I saw the today's papers and they say something about the President's speech.
The speech about the future and stuff.
Why in the future? Why are we even in the shape we are right now?
Maybe this is the future and it's going to stay as it is.

Whatever,
then I saw this article on AOL. Yeah that person writing that article is right. I'm one of the students that made a mistake going back to school. But I don't care I'm already on default. I'm not going to pay for something I don't know how to use or can afford to pay.

I think his "twofer" should be commended, while Pri has gone off the deep end where it comes to other posters, I can't see where either of these two most recent "victims" aren't deserving of the ridicule that has been heaped on them.

In short, Madiba is a narcissistic, pseudo intellectual, that can't get anyone on his couch. So he trolls TER for "patients", while Robertini is just a sad case of why social services are necessary. Much to my dismay as a taxpayer, some people are just incapable of providing for themselves in this 21st century that we live in. Unfortunately people like Robertini will always exist and be a drag on society, unless of course we are willing to "put them down"  I am sure not even the worst "right wing nut jobs" would be in favor of that, well not publicly at least. I've been back to school, after serving in the military, and received 2 degrees plus several certifications. I knew what I wanted to do, and I knew the better schools to go to to get the education and skills needed to do so. If one goes to an inferior school they get an inferior education. Many schools, especially for profit schools, are there just to provide the minimum requirements for their students to get the certification or degree they want in order to get a better paying job, not necessarily because they are all the passionate about the field of study.

Regarding the future vs. now. I'm own my own business, and I know I have to have my eye on both, constantly. You have to take care of business at hand, and you have to keep your eye on the tends. This country needs to invest in those technologies that will be in demand throughout the world, and invest in educating our people so that they can develop, maintain and sell those technologies. I live in an area that is a the center of one of those technologies and the economy here is much better than in much of the rest of the country, and even the areas around it.

I think your analysis and the article is quite good in the context of politics and jobs.  However, I am one of those men of a certain age and I've been attending classes for the last 30 years.  I think college is great and I go for my own interests, not training for a job.  I don't think you should ever graduate or have a degree, unless your profession absolutely requires it — like a Doctor.  Just go for yourself.  Another benefit is I stay the same age and the female classmates keep getting your.*

Agree with what the President said. One's hate for someone should not decide what the President said is what is good for this country, if we want maintain current living standards in the future.

There is going out of theory in business and it very simple. It is called numerator and denominator.

Let us assume numerator is what you spend to run your business and denominator is the total revenue your business makes and you want to increase profit and your revenues are declining.

You start cutting expenses to keep your profit the same and you keep on cutting expenses while the revenue keeps on declining. What is going to happen to your business? Eventually it folds.

Same things happen to nations economy. Keep cutting spending hoping that the deficit will go down and the unemployment keeps growing tax revenue keeps going down. Is the deficit going come down?

Another business theory, " Nothing worse than being number one in declining market". People don't want made in USA shoes, toys, and other nick knacks at the price we can sell. But they do want cutting edge products and high technology and are willing to pay the price we ask. What would you do?

Albert Einstein Quotes:

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence."
