 Nope. It was Trump’s own DOJ headed by Republican Rod Rosenstein who found that the evidence then known met the standard for appointment of a special counsel.

        Mr. Mueller found “numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump campaign.” And Mueller did not rely on the Steele dossier.  If Trump had not dangled a pardon in front of Paul Manafort to prevent him from cooperating, I wonder if a Trump conspiracy could have been proven. Guess we will never know.

He is a consistent gobbler of Trumpian lies and has pledged allegiance to Putin.

There is more things possibly pointing towards hillary.... but nothing concrete yet.

You bring up Mueller...... Remember Mueller wasn't involved with what they are talking about.  This is all about the original investigation and spying on Trump.  It is how they USED the Steel Dossier and knew it was FAKE to spy on Trump a political opponent.  To go after him.

 
You are confusing two things.   The reason why I was brought up Schiff and the others, is did they possibly HIDE this and drug on the whole investigation.... and didn't bring this stuff to light.  Which would have spearheaded other investigations.  You know into Comey, Brennan, etc.

The IG testified before Congress the FBI showed no political bias in investigating Trump for Russia connections. Durham after three and a half years, two acquittals, and low level FBI agent conviction for - gasp - altering an email to get a FISA warrant  likewise found only confirmation bias by the FBI. You will notice Willy is ignoring this but Durham did not fault the FBI for investigating Trump and Russia “knowing things were bullshit”. He concluded   only that the FBI should not have started with a “full” investigation but only a preliminary investigation. He faulted the FBI for a “lack of analytical rigor”- in other words they should have studied things more before opening the full investigation. You could say that about any agency decision. Mueller took over the investigation and found it was indeed warranted as noted by the indictments and convictions I listed. He neither charged nor exonerated Trump.

So where is the Trump Russia hoax? Shouldn’t we be talking about the hoax that the FBI had a political bias? Not according the IG and Durham.

Are you forgetting that your “Smoking Gun Declassified Durham Appendix” evidence was in -how can I put this delicately – IN THE DURHAM REPORT and that the 2016  and 2020 reports even preceded the Durham report? Just a guess here but I’m pretty sure that means Durham and the IG both knew of the “serious crimes,” the “treasonous conspiracy,” and that, as you say, the FBI  “made up the Trump Russia” connections. Despite this knowledge, as your own link says, Durham found no broad conspiracy, did not charge any of the Democrats committing treason, did not write that the FBI made it up,  did not mention this in testimony before Congress, and concluded the FBI did  have grounds for a preliminary investigation. Instead, he decided to prosecute - the poor schmuck who altered emails.
