Why don't you elaborate?

Is it because you cannot argue that the military wasn't PC during the Clinton regime?

Or maybe it's because I didn't dismiss all of them on that grounds, but noted that it was true in the case of many.

Indeed, that is a quite frequent criticism of the kind of officers advanced and promoted during Clinton's term.

opposing a muscular American foreign policy is hardly surprising, since they have done so since time immemorial.  They also wanted Reagan to take out the famous statement made at the Berlin Wall in 1987 --- "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

As for the military types on the list, it seems many of them achieved their high ranks during the Clinton Administration, when PC was running rampant in the ranks.  While I would not dismiss all of the signatories on these grounds, it seems that many are quite suspect on political grounds.
