Honoring Liu Xiaobo, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, President Obama said, "One year ago, I was humbled to receive the Nobel Peace Prize -- an award that speaks to our highest aspirations, and that has been claimed by giants of history and courageous advocates who have sacrificed for freedom and justice."

What a humble way to phrase it.  Yes, let's talk about me as a giant of history like me.  And the Chinese guy got it also.

Funny, I think the new guy is in a Chinese prison. That is major sacrifice.  Since Obama thinks the prize goes to those who sacrifice, exactly what hardship did he undergo?

Wonder how will he will  handle   Iran Placing Medium-Range Missiles in Venezuela that  can reach the U.S ?

quote :
Iran is planning to place medium-range missiles on Venezuelan soil, based on western information sources[1], according to an article in the German daily, Die Welt, of November 25, 2010. According to the article, an agreement between the two countries was signed during the last visit o Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to Tehran on October19, 2010. The previously undisclosed contract provides for the establishment of a jointly operated military base in Venezuela, and the joint development of ground-to-ground missiles ..

If Iran, therefore, cannot get the S-300 missiles directly from Russia, it can still have them through its proxy, Venezuela, and deploy them against its staunchest enemy, the U.S..

I guess it is true that you have to have a giant ego to even run for POTUS, but Obama sets a new standard for egomania.

Just like his "long suffering" wife, who blamed this country and it's deep seated racism for the hard life she has led, going to the best universities, her cushy 6 figure salaries, etc. Yes, this woman has truly suffered. lmao

Obama won the Noble prize for being the first black president.  Since he's half black, its all about half of him.  That makes the Noble Prize just that much more special in his case.

to listen to people when they tell him "No, we don't want that" whatever "that" is. Hmm... I guess that means he's deaf. Too bad he's not mute, too.
