He did his job, filled out his email and slept soundly.  

A friend of mine, who is also a former Marine and isnow a VSO. He says that under Trump 1.0, VA claims were taking six weeks. Under Biden that jumped to six months and never got better.  Let’s hope making them go back to work speeds things up again.

I did a lot of things, but none that I'm going to disclose here. Normally, working in the government is kinda a nice because you're mostly surrounded by leftist women who are mostly nice, stupid, and kinda goofy. If you have a nice demeanor yourself, things are fine. Yes, in person, I'm a laid back easy going guy. But Trump has brought out the TDS in far too many of the stupid people in our office, most especially the black ladies, some of whom honestly thought that Trump was going to put them in prison or deport them. There has been some irritating changes like tightening up various contracts and whatnot. But the nice thing about working in an agency both parties generally like is that they mostly leave you alone to do your work. I have found myself somehow getting more responsibilities than less, so maybe that will turn into a grade increase down the road.  

 
What has been stressful are the crazy conspiracy theories left wing websites are pumping out constantly, which scare the ever loving shit out of dumb left wing ladies, some of whom just love to run to the big gentle white guy and cry on his shoulder while he's trying to fill out a goddamned spreadsheet. I actually bring in bags of candies and put them in a bowl to keep them occupied so they spend their time grabbing skittles instead of me.

It’s a total waste of time. If they visited the offices it would take them 10 minutes to figure out who the hard workers are and who’s the slack asses are.
