She was absolutely outstanding.  At a few instances, she was visibly mildly rattled.  Overall, I was sincerely and significantly impressed.  I cannot excuse nor forget her prior interviews and going forward, I will view them together with her performance this evening.  

Her command of the facts was impressive.  She was skilled at totally failing to answer questions that did not play to her campaign's strengths.  Furthermore, she was charming and far more respectful than I have ever seen her in the past.

As a feminist, I am proud of her.  As a democrat, I am grateful that Biden was actually a bit better.  I thought he too was fantastic.  I agree with CNN that this was the debate of his life.  He was never better.  Had he been only as good as he was in the past, she would have beaten him.  On balance, I think he won.

She was indeed very good. I thought she was excellent at avoiding the areas where she was clearly outgunned, or at least getting out of those areas with minimal damage.

I REALLY didn't like the winking thing, though. Made me feel like it was a not-very-genuine session, ifyouknowwhatImean.

Can't wait to see what Tina Fey does with it, though!

And i can see what the right wingers in this forum see in her which causes them to wax so rapturously  -- she does have a Reagan-like, just-folksm unaffected quality, and even though you suspect it's all just atrifice, you still mostly get taken in by it.

Still, I'm thinking : it's a case of Gov Palin being Salesperson of the Year;  too bad the product she reps is an Edsel.
