Most of the major issues are currently polling among voters at 80% to 20%. The Dems are aligning themselves with the 20% on almost every issue. If they agreed with the Republicans and picked the 80% side on SOME of the issues, they wouldn't look so crazy and clueless. Dem leaders should be asking themselves, "Is DEI, tranny rights or men playing in women's sports the hill they want to die on coming into the 2026 midterms? Newsom and Fetterman are about the only well-known Dems who are siding with the 80% of voters on SOME of the issues. Newsom picked men in women's sports and spent last weekend saying he supported banning it. Why don't some of the other Dems realize they are backing the wrong horse on just about every issue and are therefore completely out of step with the average American voter.

Defending a broken status quo and offending most of the country, turns out, is not as popular as my party thought it was going to be. And so it’s going to take a while for people to get it figured out," Jones added.
