Congress unwisely took impeachment off the table. The problem with that is, they've abdicated their oversight: again. It means that if this administration does something blatantly illegal, the Democrats promised the people that they wouldn't impeach.
How could the Democrats have made such a promise? How could they ever know they weren't going to fine any criminal acts?
Bush is a lame duck, he has absolutely nothing to fear now. If he weren't so clueless about his legacy, he would also know it's shot.

Bush should blowup Iran's oil refinery. That would hurt them bad!!!! REAL BAD!!! They'd be unable to drive their shitty cars (AND THAT WOULD PREVENT SOME GLOBAL WARMING-- LITTLE SIDE BENEFIT).

Shrub go ahead, give the order to bomb an Iranian refinery. Iran can cause us alot more pain than we them. They would probably unleash Herzbollah to attack all our interests in the Middle East including all the oil facilities in Saudi Arabia. Iran could cause alot of mischief in the Shia controlled areas of Iraq, the British troops and all the rest of the coalition of the dwindling will have to leave, and the U.S with our stretched troops will have Iraq all to ourselves. It would be a complete disaster IMHO.

Have you considered the wildly improbable possibility that Israeli military actions against Iran might just further justify the Iranian pursuit of nukes? And not necessarily for deterrence purposes exclusively?

Iran has been racing at breakneck---breakneck speed for the last three years.
There doing all the steps!!!!!! And have infrastructure to do it.
First) They take Uranium and leach it w/sulfiric acid. That makes some kinda oxide that makes it yellowcake.
Second) They take the yellowcake and inject/infuse fluorine gas and that turns it to UF6. The UF6 gas is put in 14 ton cylinders and it becomes solid.
Third) They have to use a centrifuge to separate the light U238 from the heavy U235.
For a nuke reactor, you only need 5% heavy U235. For the bomb, you need 90% plus heavy U235.
Iran has the infrastructure built to do this.
They're going as fast as they can. They can't hate us anymore than they already do. We have to smack them. Smack them good and hard!!
We gotta take out their oil refinery.
