Gen. Jack Keane, Ret. dedicated 37 years of his life to serving his country.  He was a paratrooper in Vietnam and eventually became a four-star general and Vice Chief of Staff of the Army.

Keane retired in 2003 with a generous pension of around $200,000/year as thanks for his service from the American taxpayers.  In 2004, Gen. Keane went to work for General Dynamics, the world's fifth largest defense contractor.  He immediately started receiving a six-figure compensation package in salary and stock options.  Last year, GD paid Gen. Keane over $250,000.

Is that enough for Whorebag Jack - $450K/yr. from taxpayers and Gen Dyn?  Hell no!  He is also on the payroll of a think tank - The Institute for the Study of War; he's a special adviser to Academi, the erstwhile Blackwater; a venture partner to SCP Partners, an investment firm that partners with defense contractors; and he's president of his own consulting firm GSI LLC.

Then pro-war pundit Keane goes on Fox News and testifies before Congress, pretending to be just a retired general and think tank leader, all the while pushing war so he and his employers can make a profit off dead U.S. soldiers.  He deserves another medal - the P.O.S. with oak leaf cluster.

Do you say the same thing about politicians who get on the board of corporations after serving their country.  Without checking my rapidly failing memory, I think both Hillary and Al Gore took BIG BUCKS positions on the boards of companies in areas in which they had no experience.

Who else would you ask for analysis or consultations on defense matters? Dennis Kucinich? Code Pink? One thing with him and McCain is no one call them chicken hawks. I just don't think they would sacrifice dead soldiers for profit. Besides, the decision to go to war is ultimately up to the president. And presidents want to look good, they want a legacy, a place in history. Bush lied people died? No. Why would he lie about the WMD? Did he say " I know they don't have them and when we  don't find them that will me look good." It makes no sense.  
   As far as this dreaded military industrial complex boogeyman it should be noted we are spending far less percentage wise on defense than we did when Eisenhower spoke of it.

Dems ever tell about Bush is that Bush lied about WMD. So if you have evidence Mr. Odonnell doesn't, I'd love to see it.

You have to be dumb, mute and stupid to question whether Bush lied about WMD. Bush did, Cheney did and both together deceived Gen. Powell into lying at the UN by withholding real intelligence and fabricating pictures he shaped at the UN.

You see where he said: "Yeah. He (Bush) definitely thought there were weapons there."

At first he reversed Tony Blankley's bum rap that Bush lied about WMD to say that the bum rap was that Bush didn't know about WMD before the war.  He was saying that the "true rap" was that Bush actually DID KNOW about WMD before the war.  If O'Donnell was agreeing with Blankley he would have said that the bummest rap was that Bush KNEW there were WMD.  But he turned it around to say the biggest rap was that Bush DIDN'T KNOW there were WMD, i.e., he DID in fact know.

McGlaughlin didn't quite understand - and neither do you Jack - so he quizzically asked O'Donnell if he was agreeing with Blankley and O'Donnell clarified it with his simple declarative sentence: "Yeah. He (Bush) definitely thought there were weapons there."

You righties desperately want to believe what you want to believe but you have to have a certain amount of gray matter to keep up on P&R.  Back to school with you now; there's a good boyo.

Keane signed stating he was not testifying on behalf of any organization, only himself.  You really think that Congress knows all the companies of which he sits on the board of directors?

How could GWB have been lying to everyone? How do you lie in the affirmative about something you think is true? If you are telling everyone what you believe to be true then it is not a lie. Which in a real twist of irony ('cause you're totally wrong about what O'Donnell really said) you've proven Jack correct in his original claim that O'Donnell stated Dems aren't telling the truth when they (and you) claim Bush lied about WMD.

Lawrence O'Donnell appeared in the flesh to BP to tell him fact certain that he didn't think Bush lied, BP would swear that I created a hologram of O'Donnell just to prove him wrong! Lol
