Has anyone noticed that Romney has been behaving a little strangely lately?

So Romney repeats the lies of a right wing blogger and says that Jeep is moving to China. Chysler releases a statement saying they are doing no such thing. Romney's response? Turn the lie into a political ad! GM releases a statement wondering if we've just gone into a parallel universe. Romney's response? Release another ad with the same lie! This sends the Ohio press into a frenzy.

So instead, Romney holds a campaign event, I mean "hurricane relief event", to try to make him look like he's doing something useful about the worse disaster in New Jersey state history. And just in case anyone in attendance didn't bring any cans of food they didn't want, the Romney campaign went to the local Wal-Mart to pick up granola bars and diapers in order to enhance the "Romney gives a shit" photo-op.

When it was all over, Romney didn't even know where the donations were going, he said it was going to "New Jersey, I think".

Who does this?

Romney's flip-flopped on every issue imaginable. He supports the Blunt Amendment. He doesn't support it. He wants to privitize FEMA, now he doesn't. He wants to get rid of Obamacare, but he likes laws against pre-existing conditions, he's in favor of a 20% across the board tax cut, then he's not, he wants to ban abortion, then he doesn't, he's against the fair pay for women, then he's not, he wants to get out of Afghanistan in 2014, but announcing a withdrawl date is a mistake, he says gov't can't create jobs, but he says as President he'll create 12 million jobs.

I gotta ask. WHO DOES THIS?

While trying to figure out why it's so hard to figure out where Romney really stands on any issue, something dawned on me.

Romney believes in nothing.

Though myself I think the Salvation Army is a much better choice.

They and many other religious organizations readily accept non perishable food and both new and used clothing. Sounds like the folks on Staten Island would gladly hear more from The Salvation Army.

Maybe the Red Cross wants cash only partly because their CEO doesn't want take home his million dollars per year in the form of Campbell’s tomato soup and Dinty Moore stew.
