The actions of Trump are old news and one election ago. The issue here is those who quickly (and rightfully so) called out Trump when his news broke, or called for gun controls quickly after the Vegas shooting for that matter, seemed to need to take 5 days to put their fingers up to see which way the political winds were blowing with regards to Mr Weinstein's transgressions. And they being the self ordained protectors of women from those of the ilk we discuss here.
So, the rumor is the hush money that was paid out was deducted from income before taxes and if so, this would be tax fraud................
A lot of republicans are making the Weinstein news a political issue when it clearly is not. The Demd are stupidly falling for it by backing away from Weinstein as though it is. Weinstein is not and has never run for any public office. Sure he donates, but that doesn’t make him “the face of the party” any more than David Dukes is the face of the GOP.
