I don't really like to profit off of other people's suffering, but it beats suffering with them.

Just think, just like 1933.... you too can have one of your possessions confiscated by the government....  now let me see.... was that done by a Republican... or a Dem.... hummm.... one wonders... hummm...... obama.... hummmm.....

Confiscation Order of April 1933. I assume Breaker just bought a gold ETF like GLD. Hard to reinstate something like what FDR did considering the average gold investor doesn't actually take possession of gold. But since we are going through a little nationalization phase (AIG, and the DEMS mandate to take equity in companies in return for $700B bailout), I wouldn't be surprised if the govt went after Freeport McMoRan, Newmont Mining, Barrick Gold, or other basic material companies.
