it's the (white, Republican, Christian) American way. We want your shit, so we are going to take it. It's not just an income inequality. The rich get lawyers to try to scare the poor into giving up and signing over the inheritance. They been doing it since they set eyes on how well the Cherokee Indians were doing.
How could it be a good thing for the country, if every one in America is poor?
...it's not like everyone will become rich.

WTF?
Those groupings certainly don't have a monopoly on wanting my shit, and taking it by force. Nearly all politicians of any party, at any level of government want me to give up my shit in the name of "fairness", or because it will fund some great new government initiative "for the good of all" (which the politicians get to control, naturally, thus enhancing their power) or some other "worthy objective".
If I don't see things their way, then the government takes my shit anyway, by force and/or threat of incarceration if necessary. Governments were taking shit from people against their will long before the founding of the Republican Party, long before the establishment of the Christian faith, long before the Declaration of Independence or Christopher Columbus's voyages.
As a side note: I don't mean to tell you how to run your business, but why cast your remarks in the very pointed way that you did? It's just barely possible that some of your potential client base might be Caucasian, or Christian, or (Horrors!) a member of the GOP. Some fraction of that potential client base might just decide to choose "that other provider he's had his eye on" rather than you. Why would a guy want to p4p with a gal who has (at the very least) a substantial amount of disdain for him? (btw, I'm just sticking up for the Republicans and Christians here, as I am neither--I do have to hang my head in shame for being white--I'm so sorry for that...the next time I get to choose my skin color I promise I'll choose a different one...)
More like “Keeping you in the dark, feeding you bull shit while I steal you blind”.
Americans rightly deserve it because they are more ideological, religious and uninformed what is really going on in their country.
As far as Mike Huckabee is concerned, as long as women keeps their legs closed, there is no need for contraceptive pills. Also says Rush.
My interpretation: “ I cannot fuck, I am fat, have multitudes of disease, take many drugs so you cannot fuck either”
I shouldn't have said one group, it's human nature for people to be greedy. I am in a really unique situation, at this point of my life. I have some real estate developers, that are holy rollers, try to cheat me out of 1/2 my inheritance of a 16 acre farm that I have been taking care of and bailed out. And, I have a rich republican aunt that just sent me certified mail trying to cheat me out my 1/4 inheritance on another piece of property. And then to top that off, a rich republican Superior Court judges son burglarize my home, and his prints mysteriously disappeared. I emailed the republican Sherriff that I voted for, and was blown off.
Maybe my situation is unique. But I am having to search hard at this point in my life, to find the good of humanity.
Christians aren't assholes. Some assholes are Christian. The most Christ-like person I ever met didn't go to church. An never voted in his entire life. Republican or Democrat.
But what the fuck does anyone but YOU know?
My mother was younger than me when she become a widow. My real father left her in very good shape with life insurance. My mother had never even paid a bill, I stepped in and invested her money. At the same time, I had just given up my power and walked away from a marriage with nothing but my child. I was in my twenties, another man married my mother and stold all her money.
I am mid-life now, still don't know much. But I am not a helpless female that will give up my power again. I can't fight them all, but I won't lay down again.
I call it striving for , and working towards success .
You can lead a slow horse to water , but you can't make him drink when he doesn't
realize he's dehydrated .
The thing about those who have succumbed to greed is that they want more, and more of the source of what they hunger for, and they take away any means that another person can use to compete with them for that source. Often those means are considered unethical, and sometimes even illegal. ![]()
LIFE should be fair. Perhaps, people should act fairly, and when they do not, to the extreme that they break the laws, the laws should be fair, should be enforced and enforced fairly. This old tripe about the poor getting something with no effort involved is no one's; on the left, right or middle, a sign of fairness. However, that is what the right is constantly accusing the left of; giving away the goods without requiring an effort or performance from those receiving it. There's study after study that show the more someone has, on average, the more and stronger their greed becomes. And, greed usually leads to avarice.
Some of us would just like a country where everyone had access to a good education, which led to each person reaching their full potential. This is not so much income equality, but a level playing field for everyone.
when you say.
Some of us would just like a country where everyone had access to a good education, which led to each person reaching their full potential. This is not so much income equality, but a level playing field for everyone.
You are absolutely correct. Many of us would like to live in country where their is opportunity for each person to achieve their full potential, whatever that may be, where laws are applied equally to have and have nots.
Not helping the poor and educating them to reach their potential will only lead perpetual poverty and crime.
Not helping the poor and educating them to reach their potential will only lead perpetual poverty and crime.
Why can't we do this in thirteen years of public school?
...that sufficient "resources" have been "expended" by "those who do not need help" to "help" those who *do* need help to "reach their potential"?
I don't know, I don't have my own private jet, and the lack of one is preventing me from reaching my full potential. Anyone want to "help" me?
I think, who should make that determination is the rank and file voters, not big money interests and the politicians they buy! ![]()
income inequality and now he's out saying his approval rating is in the tank because of racism .
Seems to me he wouldn't have been elected without a boatload of wealthy whites voting for him too.
When the race card gets pulled its game , set ,
match . You admitted you've lost so lob an old reliable . It's sad to see a POTUS do it .
get the brain cells you have to work.
You have to ask people on a hooker site .
I'd say you're the one lacking brain matter in your grape .
Table 1: Income, net worth, and financial worth in the U.S. by percentile, in 2010 dollars
Wealth or income class Mean household income Mean household net worth Mean household financial (non-home) wealth
Top 1 percent $1,318,200 $16,439,400 $15,171,600
Top 20 percent $226,200 $2,061,600 $1,719,800
60th-80th percentile $72,000 $216,900 $100,700
40th-60th percentile $41,700 $61,000 $12,200
Bottom 40 percent $17,300 -$10,600 -$14,800
From Wolff (2012); only mean figures are available, not medians. Note that income and wealth are separate measures; so, for example, the top 1% of income-earners is not exactly the same group of people as the top 1% of wealth-holders, although there is considerable overlap.
Interpret as you wish
Can't you just tell me?
what you wrote made no sense, I'm going to pass on your link.
...if not the Democrats wouldn't continue to USE the issue.
What is the solution?
I don't see one
Re-read my OP.
His best failure is comprehending the writings of others .
Putting his own words together to make a coherent sentence is his second biggest failure .
It's too bad everyone doesn't realize we have the best system in the world .
In a world absent of the rich , the poor will only become poorer .
The best solution I have found , don't waste my time talking to him .
What is the solution?
I don't see one
Re-read my OP.
I think his inability to string words together into coherent sentences exceeds his inability to comprehend what he reads.
Aside from that, I think we are on the same page where it comes to AF
and why is it that everyone seem to want to do away with the rich? Wouldn't it make more sense to strive to get rid of the poor? In a world absent of the poor, what would we be left with???
The Globalist banks realized decades back that you cannot have a central ‘One World’ government when there was such wealth disparity between the U.S. and the Third world nations. Since it is easier to lose wealth than gain it America was put into the crosshairs of a ‘lower the standard of living’ gun.
No-one can deny that the overall standard of living has precipitously dropped in the U.S. since the 1960’s. Oh we may have 70” HD flat-screens and Smartphones up the whazoo; but the middle class has been decimated, the Dollar barely buys what a dime did in 1960, the public schools are more concerned with how to afford all the pensioners rather than educating our youth, People lucky enough to have full time jobs need regularly obtain pay-day loans to get by, and once secure retirees are now forced to sell their long paid for homes to the banks for a reverse mortgage.
The Globalists succeeded in quantifiably lowering America’s standard of living. Now the Super rich ruling class is intentionally stirring up “class warfare” between the poor, the working poor and the not yet “ruling class” rich. The immune ruling class rich are simply waiting to further pilfer and impoverish until there is only the poor and the ruling class rich.
If we had listened to what our nations founding fathers had warned of and put into law things could have been a lot different and a whole lot better than they are now; but a banking cartel took control of the Dollar in 1913, and our public schools stopped teaching any meaningful history 60+ years ago.
Rome had free bread and the Coliseum. Now we have the EBT card and the Super-bowl.
Nothing has changed; and the end will again be epic
Is the biggest myth and brain dead myth. You are going to ask why people come here? If you pay attention, you will find out, most of them are from impoverished places in E. Europe, S.America and Central Asia.
The second myth is you GaG is informed about anything that goes in this world other than what your idiot Faux News masters tell you.
When was the last time you read anything other than TER discussion boards and National Enquirer
There will always be someone who is poor. The poorest person on the planet could suddenly become the richest, and someone would take his place on the bottom.
Build a bridge. Get over it.
What a bunch of bullshit! "The poorest person on the planet could suddenly become the richest, and someone would take his place on the bottom." Yep! That's just what the 1% want you to preach to the world.
Yes, we will always have the poor with us. That's even scriptural. However, how long and how deeply they suffer is up to us!
For some people to have more than simply enough as long as everybody has enough.
But when one person, group of people, community, society, race, religion, whatever has so much more than enough that it is incompatible with everyone having at least enough, then it's time for people to stand up and shout, "Enough!"
This isn't an ethical hypothise pulled off the dusty shelf, it's structural logic. The condition will end either in total suppression or revolution... Or total breakdown of the value of currency or whatever constitutes barter wealth.
While we watch it happen, let's eat, drink, and treat our providers well.
After it happens, we'll meet again in the crowded streets full of refugees. It will be an adventure, if we make it that, or a tragedy.
Find a paradise and tend you garden.
As I've said here before, the have been no revolutions due to the "percolating up" of a societies resources. However, there have been plenty where not enough of societies resources were not filtered down fast enough from the top; Russia, France, etc. There's a multiple reasons why we have incarcerated more of our citizens than any other major western country. It is just a matter of time when the floodgates burst open to outright rebellion; a macro response to the 1% withholding resources versus the multitude of micro responses by those incarcerated.
