So, instead of "swatting flies" W's stomping ants in Iraq.  And how does that "eliminate Al-quaida" tell me?  His war with Saddam had nothing to do with eliminating Al-quaida.  

He won two wars?  His military gained us occupations.  Here, we haven't won the wars till the occupations are successful.

The idea that Margaret Thatcher needing Reagan to back her up is laughable.  How could there be revenge for Lockerbie if nobody knew who had done it?  (and we still don't)  Is revenge a laudable reacation?

And the Ann Coulter woman might be more interesting if she at least got basic facts right.  3,000 American were not murdered on 9/11, people from many, many countries were murdered.  Or maybe they don't count in her eyes if they are not American.

Mengele's experiments in Eugenics under Hitler were designed to bio-engineer the perfect Aryan Nazi Fraulein.  And now we have her, in the person of Ann Coulter.  Never has anyone been able to look so benign while spouting such noxious, hate-filled, bigotted garbage as Ann Coulter.  It would be a tragedy if there were any underlying facts to her hate-filled venom.  Fortunately, she plays very fast and loose with the truth, so she can easily be ignored.

Only disagreement I would have with Ann (I've spoken to her in the past) is the line about Thatcher, about which Carrie rightly takes umbrage.  Why Thatcher did not act is debatable; that she did not is not debatable.

But don't expect to persuade the BushHaters.  The emnity is an end in itself.

I think she's actually writing standup comedy, but couldn't write a funny line to save her life.  So, instead she has marketed herself as a political commentator, and makes millions, with conservatives falling all over themselves praising her wisdom.

Ann Coulter was shown for the lying hate-monger she is when she was eviscerated in Al Franken's excellent book. He used her own footnotes to expose her lies.
