From what I can see, the #1 priority of some board righties is the 2nd amendment.

An even higher concern than the economy, the deepening racial divide & terrorism.

Looks to me like some in here have their priorities screwed up.

...that it is carved in stone like the Ten Commandments?  The First Amendment has restrictions - yelling "fire" in a crowded theater for example.  Do you consider ANY restriction on the Second Amendment to be "fucking with it?"

who would yell "fire" in a theater.  A change to the Amendment will not stop them from yelling. There are 27 words in the 2nd Amendment....which of them bother you and you  would like changed?   Want to do something constructive?  Propose another Amendment with all your lefty concerns.  That would be a good read.

It might be helpful if it could be clarified.  The courts already have done that to some extent and thus the "right to bear arms" is not unlimited and it's accepted that the government has a right to regulate it.
That said, as a practical matter, it's not even possible to add reasonable restrictions on things like gun show sales, background checks and high-capacity magazines.  Also, with about 300 million guns of all kinds in the US no one's gun will be taken away.
So I'm in the process of getting a pistol permit in one of the toughest states to do that in the country.  Because I'm doing it by the book I had to start the process late last year and wait until last Monday to actually file the lengthy application.  Now I have to wait another six months for them to grant or deny.  That makes me nervous because I'm being stalked by macdaddy1944 and quadruped and fear for my safety.
LMAO!

There's a gun that belonged to my Dad that someone's holding for me until I get my permit.  If I was going to do it, I was doing it by the rules.
