at the beginning of Trump's term where he resigned as CEO and his son took over for the duration of his term as President. Does this mean you are agreeing that, since Trump was not CEO WHILE he was President, all of the claims that he took money illegally from foreign governments who paid for people to stay at his hotels is bullshit from the left? In the past, Presidents sold ALL their investment holdings and put them in a Blind Trust. Meaning, because they did not know where their money was invested, they couldn't do anything officially that would help advantage them financially.
Trump, on the other hand, only dropped the title of CEO. But since NONE of his assets were sold he KNEW exactly what they were invested in and was quite well placed to make decisions that would benefit his own wealth. Remember when he wanted to have an international conference at Doral? He had to be gently told that was over the line. But that was the only time. And the money kept flowing into his other properties. Which he continued to know he still owned.
