I had some extra time today, our National Anthem was on my mind, so I thought I'd do a little research on National Anthems across the Globe.  
   
     I couldn't find another National Anthem that started with a question.
 I'll admit even though I read fast in English and proficient with  Russian,  translations  were slowing me down  
   so I quit looking.
   
    Do you believe  some people protest our National Anthem because they aren't the type of people to look for answers and our National Anthem has more than one question ?

1) I didn't complain about the length of your post, or suggest you make it longer.  I pointed out that you simply left out some very pertinent information about the National Anthem.
2) I didn't call for a boycott of the National Anthem.  I just pointed out -- correctly -- that the man who wrote it was a slaveholder and a racist.  The fact that confronting these facts makes you uncomfortable is NOT my problem.
3) It seems you missed that in the link you provided I posted a long and historically correct item that even GaG agreed with.  Did you even read your own link?

I always thought that America the Beautiful should replace The Star Spangled Banner as the national anthem.  It is celebratory and it is aspirational.
