The place is awe inspiring. I got a chance to peek into the everyday lives of the many ethnic groups that make up this country and which have made it strong. I got a chance to walk that paths that immigrants walked, to examine and walk through the halls where they gathered, to see the tattered possesions that they brought here in their search for a better life.
Anyone that has not visited Ellis Island need to schedule a visit as soon as possible. Being there and walking through all the exhibits will bring tears to the eyes of the toughest people. And Lady Liberty herself, oh my my.
And the interesting thing is that the decendants of the people that Funtime took a swipe at will be as impressed as I was when they visit.

The new colossus was written in 1883 by the jewess emma lazarus. She was pushing an agenda for her people that was 180 degrees the opposite of american law, and the way americans felt during time period.

The immigration and naturalization act of 1790 states; only white people could emigrate, or become american citizens. So that was the law, and represented the way americans felt about WHO could emigrate to the united states, until it was ultimately destroyed in the immigration act of 1965.

The new colossus was written to subvert the american law, and then be called on today by the anti-white, anti-christian, anti-western peoples out to destroy our country and folk. They will deliberately omit the fact our countries law, only allowed whites to emmigrate, as they use this speach to justify the anti-white immigration quotas that are on the books today.

We must look again at WHO wrote this piece. Do her people hold anti-western values?? Have they again and again tried to subvert the american way? Are they ethno-centric to the point of doing whats best for their people, at the expense of the majority, and the way that majority feels?

I ask. what of population density?? SHould we keep allowing more and more people, at the risk that we can't support them in a harmonious environment?

Can we not learn from other overcrowded cesspools like india, or china, where people are living in overcrowded conditions, in misery??

This is the problem with you anti's, you have know vision of the future, no thoughts of tomorrow,  you act in the now for alterior purposes.

Say we have a pasture that can provide enough clover to sustain ten cows. A perfect balance between a being, and its enviroment. If we add another cow, and another, and so on, we run out of natural resources to sustain any number of cows. Starvation, or depletion of resource will lead to terrible living conditions, and death...

You anti's just keep on adding with no forethought of what your actions will bring. Or worse, you do understand and continue to let the recipes for destruction increase. Possibly you're pushing an agenda?? Plenty of evidence to support one group of our people working against the interests of the many...

Immigrants originally settled every nation in the world. America is no longer an empty continent. We are a crowded country of 290 million people that must deal with problems like sprawl, pollution, and disappearing forests and open space.

As an Oklahoma Indian with a grandfather from the reservation, I asked my father about being an immigrant.  He said the lore was we grew here like flowers, but I grew like a weed.  

There can be no immigrantion because no one owns the land, only the Earth owns the Earth. We are part of the Earth so one place is like another, only aliens form an other world are immigrants.

How about in the middle east?? I can't help to think of the phrase;   "ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS" Think for a second, of what religion are the people who drew up the plans for this war?? Do they not gain from a muslim/Christian war??

I respect that we have people of color in our country. That doesn't mean we have to continue to over-populate, to keep adding and adding. We don't even have to think of deporting some of our countrymen, just stop adding, let us adjust for the people that we have. A multi-ethnic nation, doesn't have to be an overcrowded one...Wouldn't you agree??

When you speak of Ellis Island, i think of people who came to America Legally, not someone sneaking in unlawfully...
