So the Democrats war on free speech is been going on for a while now. First they tried to cancel any views they disagreed with. When that stopped working they called it “misinformation”. When that stopped working Biden tried to set up a censorship czar. This, of course, after it was exposed that the FBI was paying Twitter tax payer dollars to censor Americans. When Elon bought Twitter and made it a free speech platform they tried to take Elon’s money away from him. Now the Globalist Satanic Trans Communists are shifting their focus to Europe. In the UK you go to prison for so much as saying you’re opposed to open borders or waving an English flag. Meanwhile Muslim illegals can rape and murder with impunity. Now the Globalist Satanic Trans Communists are going after social media. France just arrested the billionaire CEO of Telegram. If you’re not familiar with Telegram it’s perhaps the most popular social media platform in Russia and eastern Europe. This cause the CEO of Rumble to leave Europe for his own safety.

Many governments are concerned about Telegram being used as a communications medium for criminals, terrorists, and others to plan and execute illegal activities. Durov was recently (Aug 23, 2024) arrested in France (where he now lives) for enabling criminals and terrorists or some related charge. It's controversial, of course (is the Telegram platform and its owner responsible for what people post or not?).
