German Intelligence know Covid came from the Wuhan lab all the way back in 2020. They knew about the gain of function research, the many lab accidents, the lax safety standards, all of it.  

 
Despite this, the lab leak hypothesis was said to not be likely by a group of scientists without any investigation of the claim. Those same scientists were the ones doing the gain of function research. Others included Fauci himself who funded the research. For some reason these people aren’t in prison right now.

What’s scary is we might have gotten (relatively) lucky with Covid. Wuhan was doing gain of function research on many coronaviruses, including Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). MERS can be transmitted from camels to people, but not from person to person. Wuhan could have done gain of function research on MERS and made it transmissible between people. That potentially could have wiped out 20-40% of all people on the planet.
