I think what we are going to get is more posturing for the two campaigns to come together, with Dementia Joe winning of course, and CCB trying to get Joe to agree with a few of his positions so he can convince his Bernie Bots to migrate to Biden's campaign without calling him a sellout like he did in 2016.
I was really hoping for fireworks tonight since Corona has taken all sports off the air, but I am afraid anyone looking for a knockdown, bare knuckle brawl between the two with Bernie desperately taking one last shot to win tonight is going to be VERY disappointment. What a fucking shame. I was really hoping the Dims would be so much more entertaining on their way to their loss in November.
This is Bernie's last rodeo. This is his legacy swan song. Grifting probably doesn't mean as much to him in his sunset years. I suspect he will stay true commie. It's up to Joey to confront or not.
But I have a feeling this is going to be the "nicest" debate ever seen in the history of politics. I didn't think that until the day every one thought that CCB was going to bow out of the race a few days ago. I think tonight will be more of a concession appearance, with a little bit of maneuvering with Biden to get a few concessions to throw to his "bots" to make him look like less of a sell out, than tonight will resemble any kind of real debate.
I honestly believe Crazy Commie Bernie when he say his major mission is to beat Trump, having a "real" debate with Biden isn't going to advance that cause, despite all my hopes to the contrary.
The name calling, throwing dirt, talking over each other? No it won't be like that. Sanders will say his thing, Biden will say his, they'll agree to disagree and then it'll be open season on trump. I expect them to label the Coronavirus as the trump virus
CCB isn't even going to even TRY to win the nomination by winning the debate. Mr GET OFF MY LAWN YOU KIDS!!! can run circles around Stuttering Joe and point out just how weak he is one on one, if he were still really trying to win the nomination, but I don't think he going to do that, I think tonight is going to be an extended concession speech by CCB with a little bit of trying to get Biden to concede on a couple of issues to placate the Bernie Bots.
I REALLY hope I am wrong, but I predict a yawnfest tonight. I will most likely record it instead of watching it live and that way I can simply fast forward to the interesting parts IF there actually are any parts that are interesting that is. As for Corona, it's a very fast moving virus, we will see just how we stand in response to it compared to the rest of the world I very short order, most likely in 2-3 weeks we'll have a very good idea where we stand.
However, Bernie did get Joe to lie about one issue. Bernie accused him in the past of wanting to cut Medicare, Medicaid and Veterans Benefits. Joe said he never said anything like that. Said it was a lie. There are plenty of YouTube videos online that show him advocating these same cuts when he was a Senator. Not exactly a knock-out punch, but the only time someone was bloodied during a boring debate.
I recorded it "just in case" it turned out to be worth watching, but I am erasing the recording without even bothering to look for any "highlights"
This primary season started with such great potential to entertain, but what a snore fest it has become. The only suspense remaining is which "woman" does Dementia Joe pick to run with him. Does he go full blown crazy with Stacey or does he find some other woman who could actually run the country after he forgets his own name?
goes with Liz in order to try to snag more Bernie voters, or else . . . . someone level-headed, well-spoken and capable of stepping in once his mind is completely gone, like Tulsi. (Longshot . . . . Michelle Obama).
is to pander to the black vote. He's already got whatever Trump doesn't get in the general, so she brings nothing to the table for him. I agree Amy is a good possibility, but I said Tulsi only because she could possibly bring some rightie voters over from Trump because she was more in the center than any other Dem in the field. Amy would not bring those voters over.
who are just looking for some reason to vote for the Dems that reassures them the country is not going Socialist. Tulsi would bring that to the ticket.
Assuming Biden v Trump or even Bernie v Trump, whoever is elected in Nov 2020 will not complete their term. B, B or T will either drop dead, stroke out and have to be removed from office, or will be found to be medically or psychologically unfit to carry out the duties of POTUS and be 25th Amendmented out. . The VP candidate needs to be a viable Presidential candidate to the satisfaction of the voters choosing that ticket.

The general consensus seems to be that Biden won by simply not keeling over or forgetting his own name. Expectations were so low he just had to avoid drooling.
