This just seems too stupid to believe, but I guess they're trying to find something, anything in the Bible pertinent to modern life. It almost makes a guy want to dress up like Jesus just to see what will happen.

When did ignorance and stupidity started to become news and we call them leading news organizations. All of them have become the National Enquirer, may be worse.

"Reminds me of ACLU leaders becoming pedophiles!!!"

It happens sometimes but its not the norm unless tabloids are your Bible..

as long as I got my plastic Jesus standing on the dashboard of my car.

I can drive a hundred miles per hour as long as I got the O'Mighty power glued beneath by my pair of fuzzy dice."

the athe-nazi's that break out in hives when they see a little Jesus cross on the LA County Seal...or a crosses in cemetery and worry about offending THE DEAD!

Frankly, considering that athesist are only a small fraction of the population, they've got to have the highest "pantsshitter to sane" ratio of any group you toss out....

Close your eyes now!!!

. . . or prohibiting the free practice thereof. . . ."

Maybe you see it as a tremendous waste of time, but people must hold the government to the promises made in the constitution. Even if it's a "Christian Nation," secularists were here too.

We've let things slide too much. At least Atheists see that.

as you see fit..but I see these types of things as being a testament to the intolerance of the atheist who bring these suits (note, not all atheist are intolerant, just the pants-crappers noted herein)

frankly, i dont recall seeing anyone from government emplore anyone to pray to the cross on the seal so the idea that using a symbol is an attempt to estblish a religion is hilarious. every bit as funny as the morons you brought to our attention.....

As I have said many times I am not a religious person as the Nuns and Priests beat it out of me .However religious people do not frighten me.
What I see coming is a day when the mention of Religion will not be tolerated in this country as it offends so many..In the near future the Religious who will have lost all their rights to worship in Public and Private will revolt against the Government who denies them their basic rights of freedom to pray..
I hope I am still alive when the day comes so I can help fight and kill those atheist bastards and their children who choose to deny basic freedoms..
Maybe next time around the survivors will choose to be more tolerant..

kind of a whacked vision bro.

I mean, I really don't see nothing like that at all. Sure, the atheist who breaks out in hives when thei see "IN God we Trust" on money and the duders with the bobblehead Jesus are extreme, BUT THEY ARE RARE!!!!!

and killing people and kids????

Fuck dude, tell me you were just jokin....

Does anyone know anything positive religion has accomplished? On the other hand, religion has accomplished lots and lots of death and destruction all over the world since the beginning of time.

By the religion and god are not the same thing. Religion is man made concept by few to serve their selfishness, greed and hunger for power. Those who follow the selfish give them multiple Rolls-Royce's to drive. Why does a religious fanatics god need a car and a bigger church, must be for the ego of the leader.

Get real!

I'm as irreligious as the next guy, but I realize that most don't share this feeling with me, and many do find solace and comfort and strength in these beliefs, so, as much I love to ggof on them, in the end I'm resigned to learning to live with them.

have you shared this with your therapist?  Or is the county psych ward all that your plan allows?

I have trouble telling which posts of yours are supposed to be funny and which are just out there.

Nothing you've said can be forecast. Though you can be randomly right on very long odds, I'm going to save my money here.

Whatever infringement on worship Atheists have made is very minor. The Atheists I've met don't want to destroy the right to worship. What they object to, and what Christians fight for, is  authorities (teachers being one) enforcing a form of worship. Why are Christians so offended with this? In their guts they know it's the best way to spread their faith.

Atheists have questioned the tax-free status of religion, and as you might think, ministers have shouted their lungs out at the very utterance of this. The tax-free status has meant that religions and ministers are indirectly supported by public taxes. Religion has the most complete tax loophole there is. As a result, no secret, it's a big business. A religion can gather huge amounts of property, tax free.

Show yourself this: open up the yellow pages where you're at. Turn to "Churches." See how many of them there are. Count the pages. Where I live, I can walk to four different churches in ten minutes. Yeah, Atheists are totally suppressing worship here.
