The linked article says, "Rio Grande congressmen Henry Cuellar and Gonzalez have called on President Biden to alter his stance on the border and rescind his executive order halting fracking on federal lands."
.
Serious Q: How much fracking is done in TX? OK has a lot of fracking and a lot of earthquakes. Other regions (PA, NY) frack or want to frack. If fracking is blocked in non-TX locations (OK, PA, NY, ...), that will increase the value of "traditional" drilling / pumping in TX, right? Shouldn't TXans want to block fracking elsewhere?
Oh wait, maybe it's White liberals that they can't stand.
Like I've been saying forever, we need a wall here in Texas. Not to keep the Messicans out, but to keep the white liberals from California from invading our state.
Maybe the browner Texas gets the Redder it will get, either way things are looking up in Texas.

and what does fracking have to do with GOP mayoral candidates winning all over Texas, including cities that have White MINORITY populations?
But what the fuck, I'll answer your question anyhow. Fracking has been commonplace since the 70's and "most" wells completed today are fracked, this includes TX, OK and every other oil producing state. You really need to learn to read closer however, Biden is only banning fracking on FEDERAL lands and only 2% of Texas land is owned by the Federal Government.
Well at least your questions make about as much sense as your answers. I can appreciate consistency I suppose. lol
The states aren't really in competition with each other, pretty much all the bigger companies operate in multiple states so it's not a Texas vs Oklahoma type of competition here, elected officials trying to make a political statement aside of course. It's not like any of the candidates REALLY think Dementia Joe and/or the people pulling his strings are going to listen to them about fracking or anything else for that matter.
I will say that the less oil production this COUNTRY makes, the higher oil prices are going to be. So don't blame me when it starts costing a hundred bucks to fill up your tank next year, but do remember just how rich these new energy policies are going to make me. All you lefties hate me anyhow, now you'll have good reason. lol
And yes, my bad for forgetting that the candidates did mention fracking in the article I linked. Mea culpa
Hispanic business owners in California, they are overwhelmingly Republican. However, their minimum wage Hispanic workers, which are here in greater numbers, are mostly Democratic because they get some public assistance from the government . . . . food stamps, housing subsidies, and the like.
The defund the police crowd has hitched their wagon to a lame horse, and I think this is only the beginning of of the Red wave we will see between now and the mid-term elections next year.
