did not have the authority as Commander-in-Chief to send more troops in to make sure all Americans had a secure exit?  He was president for six months before they even announced the date for the pullout.  Trump knew that the Taliban would take over once the American presence was gone because the Afghan government is corrupt.  If you need proof, as soon  as the Taliban got close, the Afghan prez loaded up a helicopter with a half-billion in cash and got his butt to where it was safe.  I did know the Taliban prisoners were released, but they were Afghans, not Americans, and what does Biden do?  He leaves most of the them there to fend for themselves along with Americans.  What is the point of getting them released if you are going to abandon them to die anyway, ALONG WITH AMERICANS.  

 
It's amazing that you don't hold Biden responsible for leaving Americans to die.  You just say, "Yep, the pullout was bad."  It was worse than bad.  It was the most reprehensible blunder in American history.  No other president has left Americans behind enemy lines to fend for themselves.  We even try to get bodies out of Americans we KNOW are dead.  Why?  Because they are Americans and that's what we do . . . . . until Biden came along.  No one should be surprised about Putin after Biden was exposed as a coward in Afghanistan.
