…yes I do. I buy Chinese PCBs because I can get them cheaper, about a dollar a board, and they’re superior to the American counterparts. But I’m usually not rendering gerbers, I’m replacing components. They’re generally made in the USA, Germany, Taiwan or Japan. Some of the companies I deal with have Chinese ownership, but I’m dealing with the American subsidiary. Vacuum tubes today though are only made in China, Russia and Slovakia. I mostly stick with Slovakian made tubes.
The vast majority of clothing sold in the USA is manufactured overseas, with China being the leading producer. Bangladesh, Vietnam, and India also play significant roles in global clothing production. Domestic clothing production in the USA is limited, largely due to higher labor costs.
Since BEFORE running for POTUS (see old Letterman Tonight Show clip) and even AFTER becoming POTUS, Trump was repeatedly asked why he doesn't have his "Trump" clothing and other goods (towels, sheets, etc.) made in the USA? And he also said that the USA doesn't even have those industries!!! After each interview, the US clothing and other trade organizations would expose his lies and provide long lists of companies that can make "Trump" products in the USA. . Give your list to Trump. He'll call it fake news, shove it down your throat, and have you sent to El Salvador.

Re: It’s easy to buy American made clothes. Just look for it. Foreign made clothing is usually terrible quality and falls apart after only a few washes.

Then again, he could ask Musk and his other billionaire buddies to subsidize the tariffs to limit the financial harm to those in the bottom percentiles that need low Walmart prices. . TRUMP should pay the tariffs out of his own pocket! (Not to Walmart but to the US Treasury at the ports of entry. Ship #1: $500 M in tariffs due? Send the bill to Trump. Ship #2: $600 M in tariffs due? Send the bill to Trump. Etc.)
