Lists all the anti-democratic and pro-forever war behaviors and policies of the Democrat party. . Suspends campaign, pulls out of battleground states, stays on ballot in blue and safe red states, endorses Trump.
But let's not pretend it's a nothing burger either. In very highly contested purple states, his endorsement could lead to Trump winning that state, and thus the presidency. Unlike The Rs here who will never ever admit anything is an issue with Trump...this is a concern and I would say it has the distinct possibility of it being a rather substantial one. Time will tell.
I don't make specific polling projections because like stock markets, trends tend to follow emotions. In general there are bounces after conventions. The RFKjr announcement could counter that somewhat as an opposing influence. . RKFjr wasn't really running as a party, more of a one-off candidate. It's possible because of that, that his followers will follow him to the Trump campaign. It sounds like there is a deal to give RFKjr a role in health if Trump wins. I think that is the issue that most of his followers rallied around, so I suspect that he will pick up most of that 1 to 3% and maybe lose 1% to other/Harris. . Sadly for the Democrats, they could have let RFKjr run in the Dem primary. He wouldn't have beat Biden because Biden was the incumbent. It's really unheard of for an incumbent to get knocked out. However, they were afraid of the optics of RFKjr getting a sizable block of delegates. But it would have been transitory. Does anyone remember Nikki Haley? It wouldn't have really mattered in the long run. . But Democrats brook no dissent. They are hard core Marxists and believe that deviation from the script is counter-revolutionary, and counter-revolutionaries are blind folded and shot. . They could have let RFKjr get ballot access for his third party run, which was taking more votes from Trump, but again, his counter-revolutionary ideas were a bridge too far. So they engineered to block him with lawfare, to disrupt his campaign, to install saboteurs in his campaign staff. . The Democrats did everything to force this outcome. What a bunch of dipshits.
But then, of course, Fester loses it. How so? First, his comparison to Nikki Haley. Because RFK got at most 9% in the polls. By the time he dropped out that was less than 5%. But Nikki Haley got nearly 20% of the actual vote in primaries even after she dropped out. A lot of that will go to Harris. Another piece will simply stay home. So, yes, Fester, it DOES matter in the long run. The rest of Fester's post is his usual lies and hysterics. The product of one of our leading dipshits.
If you didn't see this coming and expect it, you were fooling yourself. Will some of his votes swing to Trump? Yes. Will he steal any of Kamala's votes? I doubt it. But to me it is nothing because it should have already been part of the plan.
Am I saying Kamala has it in the bag still? No, and not still, because I never did. Sure, I think she will win. Key word: think. I by no means think this is anyone's race. It's a close one and can go either way. That said, if votes RFK brings help win any states, well IMO that was already going to happen, so Fester posting about it is meaningless to me.
You can plan for something all you want, and at times still cant overcome the thing you are guarding against. I am not saying Kamala can't overcome this endorsement, but it FAR from a nothing burger. That is just silly. All Trump would need is "some of his votes" to swing his way in toss up states to garner those crucial EVs. . Trust me, not a soul on her political team thinks it's nothing. And you know what Mike Tyson said. "Everyone has a plan until you get punched in the face."
“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future,” Kerry Kennedy wrote in a statement alongside four of Kennedy’s siblings. “We believe in Harris and Walz. Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story,” they added."
You just don’t realize we’re almost saying the same thing. I’m not saying it doesn’t impact the vote nor that it won’t make a difference. I’m just saying the news of his endorsement is much news. If you expect something, when that something comes true, it’s not big news.
On the positive side, at least RFK didn't refer to Trump as "America's Hitler" or "a moral disaster" or "a total fraud" or "a cynical asshole" or "reprehensible" or "cultural heroin" or "just another opioid" or say that Trump committed “serial sexual assault” or called him “one of USA’s most hated, villainous, douchey celebs,” or harshly criticize Trump’s response to the deadly 2017 White nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. After all, RFK only wants a cabinet post, not to be VP!
