Weird that he just didn't resign w/out mention of the affair. Yea...

.....it may have been brought  out later, but he could have issued a statement addressing it then.

I just don't remember a resignation like that before there is a story out there about it.

I think I know WHY he mentioned the affair.

I think somebody was trying to blackmail him. Someone who knew what his position was and knew about the affair.

Petraeus did the right thing by telling the truth. United States is a strange country where men can serve the country honorably and be hero but when it comes to pussy, everyone so uptight, and virtuous and it becomes worse than the Satan himself.

Why is US so against sex. All men of accomplishment, past and present had and have mistresses and concubines and I suspect the future men of accomplishment will have the same.

Everywhere else in thee world, this would be absolutely nothing.
