Yeah a performance not a senator properly conducting himself at a hearing.

 
Probably took him and his speech writers all weekend to write that and practiced the delivery with his acting coach.

 
After all the rehearsing he still could not hide the PHONINESS of his outrage.

 
His “emotional” speech (and that is what it was, as speech, not a statement in a senate hearing) was a prelude to his announcing his candidacy for president.  

 
Did he  even ask any questions, as the senators are supposed to do at that type of hearing he just made a self-centered self-serving speech.
