In her exact words. If she could she would mandate that the whole country would have to wear masks and salons would still be closed. This proves she has been lying the whole time.

can impose a $1000 fine per violation for salon owners who see customers indoors during the closure mandate from the gov, which is still in effect.

This is typical of Lib elites . . . .  Nancy Pelosi getting her hair done is important, but for average Americans, it not important. She is the Queen, so she gets special rules and laws don't apply to her.  What a fucking scumbag she is.

As far as not wearing a mask , it raises the question of what do the elite politicians know that the rest of us don't know about the REAL science behind the lock-downs and mask-wearing rules?

why you know so much about the rules for hair salons?
Do you also speak with a lisp? Is your first name Bruce? Do your friends call you Stud Muffin?

The mask has slipped on this whole crisis narrative which was the ONLY THING the Dims had to run on. Good luck in November!

and my manicure place got notices from the city that they were violating the state mandate to close or else risk a $1000 fine the next time and each time after that.  That mandate was changed a month ago by the governor to allow them to operate outdoors in the parking lot, but who wants to get a haircut in the 100 degree SoCal heat this past month?  Indoor operations are supposed to resume in two weeks county by county based on latest stats.

Which is the West-Coast version of the NYT, went ballistic in saying she has destroyer her credibility at a critical time near the election, and has let down the Dem party for selfish reasons.  The SacBee is on par with the SF Chronicle as far as Left Wing Bias, so it was extraordinary for them to bash her like this.  Even the network media on the West Coast is running videos of her bashing Trump for not wearing a mask, alongside the security video of her entering the hair salon without a mask, accompanied by her security detail who are also not wearing masks.  Even leftie reporters don't like finding out that those who are MORE ELITE than them are getting special treatment that they can't even get for themselves as famous reporters.  The fake news on cable is trying to cover for her by suggesting that the security camera footage may violate the consent law on private audio and video.  Bullshit.  The cameras are in plain site all around the building.

Pelosi is now saying she was "set up!"   Apparently she was forced at gun point to go to a closed salon and get a do.

...do you remember those early pictures of Chuck Schumer wearing a mask that only covered his mouth, not his nose? And yet he was expounding how important mask wearing was. Just another bull shitting politician! To quote a famous line from the book Animal Farm: “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”.

Really, really stupid. Pelosi admitted she was wrong to do it, although she also tried to shift some of the blame to the shop owner.

But for everyone who’s eviscerating Pelosi for her mistake, I have to ask:

- Have you blasted Trump for his constant violations of state, local and business COVID-19 regulations, including the violations at his rallies (Which he and his campaign staff actively encouraged) as well as his personal violations?

- Have you demanded that Trump at least admit he was wrong for these really, really stupid actions, as Pelosi did?

If your answers to either of those questions is No, you have no business beating Pelosi up for her mistake.

By definition, you CANNOT be set up unless you are corrupt in the first place.  Only corrupt people, or those breaking the law, get caught up in "stings."  Can't believe you would even try to argue this.  It makes you as stupid as she was for saying this in the first place..

and hang on to that scrap of food as if its life depended on it?

Because it doesn’t know if and when another morsel may come along.

This is what counts as a HUUUUUGE scandal in the minds of Trump and most Republicans.  It demands justice!  Tarring and feathering would only be a good start!  Of course, Pelosi should resign because of this terrible offense to all Americans, which caused the deaths of over 100,000 people and threatens the very foundations of our republic!

Oh wait... I was thinking of someone else on that last sentence.

Lib media is making a huge deal about her cred being destroyed.  If the Lefties are concerned about one of their own enough to call her out, you KNOW its bad,  a lot worse than you think.

The best thing she should have done was say.... Yes I made a mistake and here is $1000 fine... or say I will donate $1000 to_____________.    But she didn't... she cried "Set up".

She is also not calling the House back to DC to work on the "stimulus" bill.  In her previous bills she had money not going to salon owners and workers....   etc.    So she is very hypicritical in this situation.

But yes... it is a stupid thing she did and she could have made a big selling point... but failed at it.

Like I mentioned above about owning up to it and "donating" or paying the fine.  Instead of screaming "set up".   Plus she could have stated something along the lines of we need to get back to DC to finalize the stimulus... but NOPE... didn't do that.   could have said... I am trying to work on a bill to help the stylists like the one i went too... but she didn't....

The public tends to be pretty egalitarian in a bipartisan way.  Any "leader" of either party who flaunts privilege too blatantly can expect some blowback even from supporters.

for that one guy who blatantly and constantly flaunts his privilege but never gets any blowback from his supporters.

Right, Supporter-of-which-I-type?

It’s funny to watch, though.  So many people getting into a huge tizzy because a lady went to a salon when she shouldn’t have. Bad move. But whom did it put in danger?

Now compare to someone who has constantly and deliberately put millions of Americans in danger over several months, encouraging all Americans and especially his followers to take actions that put them at risk of catching a serious, often deadly disease.

Not quite equivalent, wouldn’t you agree?

I know you’ll never agree.  And therein lies the problem, and the utter hypocrisy of you and many of Trump’s followers.
