Excellent point, only...

Trump is a good man. His supporters are great Americans. However, despite his best effort, the writer has made an excellent point about those who defended 0bama for 8 years.

And yet, you voted for him.
Thanks, but you don't have the right to complain now.

I stay silent on politics everywhere I go.  One of my friends that is married and Republican with both spouses working said his Trump tax cut went the other way.

I do have a right to ask questions.  Trump said he would take on the pharmaceutical and insurance companies and all he managed to do was pass a tax bill that is unclear yet to me.

Indeed

It makes me very uncomfortable. What's next? Will I be spooning with Laffy, too? Wk for FG soon? LOL

As for defending "bad men," how many defended Bill Clinton and Obama? Women's group were silent or DEFENDED Bill Clinton, while his victims were being demonized and slut shamed. Many others defended Obama and his racialist shit.

I never feel the need to defend Trump "the man." In fact, that is exactly what I have attacked him for on many occasions here. He was, and still is, a POS. But my other choice, Hillary, was a POS as well.

Trump's policies are a different matter, as they are having real and tangible affects on real people, but it is too soon to draw any final conclusions. I will defend them on a case by case basis.

I am glad my interest and wonder if more in history and science than what is going on around me in current events and politics.  I am also grateful for a creative and imaginative mind that loves fantasy and science fiction as an escape.  But the news, any of them make my head hurt.  Stephen Colbert and SNL help me remember that I am sane and it's craziness in the White House.

At least it's hard to tell. Perhaps you are simply incoherent.  At least you are right about the "craziness in the White House." But that does not make you sane.
You seem like a nice person but you are a total goofball.

goofball, that is nice with no known enemies.  Peacemaker, and no apologies to get in order before I go.  Insane, yes; enough to have my hands in 4 businesses for which one is illegal and one could very well become illegal.   I am an insane crazy risk-taker.  I get bored easy.

is the only way we will evolve.  Fear breeds hate.  Love covers a multitude of sins.  Good day, sir.

From which meetings do you draw this nonsense?

I have much respect for both programs and churches that lead people to their truth. Although I am not a member of those; I have seen them change people's lives.  I am a recovering co-dependent.

So, you attend C-DA?

How did you "recover"? Or, still working on recovery?

never recovered, always a process to not feel responsible for others.  I am the only person I have control over.  I had to learn boundaries, how to say no without giving a reason, and the hardest part was going no contact with people that continued to cause me pain before my heart could recover.  I had to learn to forgive people that were not sorry.  I had to learn to forgive myself for not knowing better.  I had to forgive...... some people find that or strive for that in church.  I looked for it there too.  It's just not my thing.  And I have never heard of that group you mentioned.  As a young adult over 26 years ago, I quit a cocaine addiction by staying 9 months in a long term women's recovery house.  I went to both programs you mentioned.  I stayed sober and raised my daughter with the exception of 3 years of being a nightly wine drinker during a stressful time.  I have found that smoking weed is helpful for me without destroying my life.  Anything else?

is that group like a mushroom party?  LOL, maybe with a swingers group :)

I have tried kava, blue lotus, holy basil, kanna, kratom.  Some work on anxiety and some work on pain.

Now that you tried blue lotus, how about pairing it with a handful of mopane worms?

They create them ALL the time - Chicago, Baltimore, Ferguson . . .

They can't wait to make the whole country a shithole (Obama tried) so that we can punish achievers and get whitey back for (fill in the blank with your own made-up grievance)!

You snowflake, pussies sure make a lot of noise when you melt.  Screaming racist everywhere it can't be found

Simple fucking nonsense.

If you care so fucking much, adopt a Haitian family and have them move in with you.  "Shithole" starts at home!  LOL

WAAAAAH!!!  LOL

...Just remember when sitting on a "shithole" NEVER take one ALWAYS leave one.

There aren't any Republicans who are good people.
