New York Post reports

"ABC’s ‘narcissistic’ David Muir roasted for sprucing up ‘svelte’ looks while reporting on deadly LA fires"

He had clothes pins on the back of his "Fire Fighter jacket" to make him look thinner. This, from the same guy who lead the ABC debate team who were Fucked up as Hogans goat.

And for the lefties who will claim it was for his mic, yeah, the Mic wiring goes down the front of his jacket at the opening. No wires are being held by said clothespin. Icky ODB can Identify with a fellow Narcissist.

This is a standard trick of the trade for on air weather reporters as it's standard practice to wear the clothes pin when reporting outdoors in high winds so the jacket doesn't fly around. Muir was reporting in excessive high wind in LA at the time. Try again?

Where was the article wrong? Was it wrong when it reported that Muir had faced online criticism for the clothespin episode?

Or was it wrong when it reported that clothespins are standard practice?

Using clothespins to cinch clothes is a standard television styling maneuver done in lieu of more traditional and permanent tailoring
Can you cite anything in the article that’s wrong (Pro-tip: read the article before critiquing it)?  Or are you falling back on the Nicky-esque tactic of proclaiming “You’re wrong because I said so!”

It called him narcissistic. There is NO evidence he did this out of vanity at all.
.
Pro-tip: read the article again, INCLUDING the headline before critiquing it.

Muir’s NOT a narcissist?! That’s the hill you’re going to die on? Robert, it’s just a minor L. Just take it and move onto the next thread.

I have no idea if Muir is a narcissistic or not, as I don't know the man at all, but this thread certainly doesn't point to him being one. Lost was trying to score a cheap political point and used a link that didn't help his case. Somehow you got offended by that and jumped onto a sinking ship. If you have a problem with this topic, take it up with Lost as it's his OP.

Loooooser continually calls me a narcissist and I could not care less.
Righties hate Muir for embarrassing Trump with the truth. That's what this is about.

You are absolutely a Narcissist ICKY ODB.

From the article Things a Narcissist Hates

1. Being Held Accountable for Their Actions
If you ever call a narcissist out on something they did wrong, they won't appreciate the note. In most cases, they will try to turn it around on you. "They will use gaslighting and other tactics to convince you it's your fault," Zuckerman says. "They can't and won't look inward at their own limitations."

You do this all the time. Shall I go all Jabba On you?

2. When Someone Else Steals the Spotlight
One trait of a narcissist is their love of attention. Therefore, when it's taken away from them, they react. "Not being the center of attention and/or having to share it is something they hate," Zuckerman tells Parade. "This is why narcissists will routinely ruin or start arguments on special days that aren't uniquely theirs, or that they have nothing to do with, such as your graduation, your wedding day, or a celebration to highlight a job promotion you got."

98.389% of "your" time spent on here is about being in the spot light.

3. Not Having Access to Someone
If you have a close relationship with a narcissist, you've probably noticed that they get very angry when you're not accessible to them when they want you to be. "Whether it be physically, emotionally or cognitively, someone with NPD views others as objects that belong to them," Zuckerman reveals. "That's why they feel it's their right to have access to you and get upset when they don't."

It rubs you raw that "your" friends aren't "your" friends anymore. Again you have torched every major relationship you have ever had.

4. When You Don't Need Their Financial Support
Narcissists like it when their partner (or someone in their life) depends on them for money. So, if things suddenly change and that person gets a job or starts hanging out with someone else who buys them things, it really gets to them. "When you are financially independent, it angers someone who has NPD because money is a common control tactic," Zuckerman shares.

I can go on if you like?

From the link

ABC insiders ‘embarrassed and horrified’ over David Muir’s alleged ‘narcissistic’ fashion move while covering LA wildfires.

First off having your anchor scamper out to LA to cover the fire and putting him in a firefighting jacket that pretty much fits and then pinning it up tight is cheesy at best. Plus David Muir is full of crap so yeah it amuses me that he gets caught like this.

Virtually every news anchor was out in LA covering the fires first hand. It's what they DO.
Here's a shot of CNN's Anderson Cooper doing the D\SAME THING.
