Matthew 27:22-25

22 Pilate said to them, "Then what shall I do with Jesus called Messiah?" They all said, "Let him be crucified!"
23 But he said, "Why? What evil has he done?" They only shouted the louder, "Let him be crucified!"
24 When Pilate saw that he was not succeeding at all, but that a riot was breaking out instead, he took water and washed his hands in the sight of the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood. Look to it yourselves."
25 And the whole people said in reply, "His blood be upon us and upon our children."

Funny every other day a thread appears denouncing the Christian Right, seperation of Church and State, or Christianity in general. Why do they only concern themselves with Christianity?? Why do they never speak out against the policy makers in President Bush's who practice Judaism??

Seriously, in a thread below, a so called  "atheist" is concerned about something or another regarding Christianity, why do I never hear "atheists" expressing themselves when it comes to the Jewish "neo-con" war-mongers??? Maybe one poster was right when he stated it's PC to bash Christians.

Food for thought,
While it is PC to bash Christians, there are special laws being made that prevent the discussion of Judaism. Any discussion of the religion, or its followers, will get you a one way trip to an Israel Courthouse. This law will supercede the American First Amendment Right of Free Speech.

Where is the rabid separation of church and state supporters when it comes to the scenario above?

No you don't!

Simply, it isn't cool to bash religion, and frankly, the only ones who do, are without God, or some other spirit in their lives. It is very trendy to bash Christians and Muslims. Funny how one very prominent religion never seems to be in style when it comes to religion bashing...Makes you wonder who is leading the Godless to rebel. Keep in mind Judaism, is an atheist religion, so they are without God.

Bill, the only reason you were mentioned, was that you like the others mentioned with you, seldom go out of your way to insult me, you usually respect my right of uninhibited free speech. It may be insulting to some, but my words are never without merit. I don't wish to drag you into defending me, i do just fine.

As a Christian man, you understand there is only Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no Allah, or Confucius, or any other spirit that will deliver one to Heaven.

You understand who it is that continue to undermine our Spirit.

Jesus told the Jews in John 8:21-47 (AST):

"...I go away, and you will seek Me. And you will die in your failures. Where I go,
you are not able to come. ... You are from below; I am from above. You are from this
world, I am not from this world. ... If you were the children of Abraham, you would do
the works of Abraham. But now you seek to kill Me ... Abraham did not do this. You do
the works of your father ... If God were your Father, you would love Me ... you are not
able to hear My Word. You are of your father the Diabolical One, and the lusts of your
father you wish to do. That one was a murderer from the beginning, and he has not
stood in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks
from his own, because he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I speak the truth
you are not persuaded by Me. ... for this reason you do not hear, because you are not of
God."

it isn't Christians...being technically a Christian myself, although I'm an Arian (no, not an Aryan, that's another matter altogether)....as you know from your study of Patristics, the Arian Heresy holds that Christ is descended from God but distinct and seperate from God, where Christian orthodoxy insists that Christ is of the same substance as God. We followers of Arius disbelieve that. We feel that Christ was an extrordiary human who had a profound comprehension of the Divine but he was in the final analysis a man with the limitations and mortality of an ordinary man.

We Arians feel that Christianity has been hijacked by arrogant know-nothings who feel entitled to speak for all Christianity, when in fact they have so agressively silenced all dissenting voices within their church (until the Protestant Reformation and Martin Luther) that the religion was closer to a police state than a loving embrace of Christ.

"Arianism  was willing to grant our Lord every kind of honour and majesty short of the full nature of the Godhead. Through Him the world was created. He was granted one might (say paradoxically) all the divine attributes except divinity."

Wake up yourself you pompous prick. You don't speak for all Christians. Your particular church doesn't speak for all Christianity. You are a grotesquely intolerant freak covering yourself in false Christian humility.

I've said "monotheisms," "modern monotheisms," or "Christianity/Judaism/Islam."  (I'd like to shorten that to CJI, but too many people wouldn't get it.)  I find them all equally flawed for many of the same reasons, but Christianity bothers me now because it's by far the majority religion in this country, and the move is underway to make this a Christian Nation-- despite the fact that there is plainly no God in this universe.  If Judaism were the majority religion or held any real power, I would be attacking that more.

But Christianity and Islam are just variations on Judaism, giving different people the role of "the chosen people" for different reasons. The main theme of all of them is a single authoritarian God who needs to be appeased in some way. I believe that every  revision of this scheme has been, arguably, worse than the one before.
