A terrorist plot was uncovered that involved bombing the NYC subways.  Bullshit!  We know those guys are innocent.  Nobody is trying to get America.  Bush is the real enemy!  If we just ignore them they won't bother us.  Terrorist are normal people like you and me that got real angry at Bush and decided to blow themselves up.  Get rid of Bush and all the terrorists disappear.  He's creating them.  Well, except for the guys that we have already caught and are in prison.  They're innocent and should be released at once!

Hmmm, isn't this weird? We had all those "alerts" leading up to the 2004 election. Then nothing until recently they "busted" two "terrorst cells" in a row as we are leading upto another election. Weird huh? And, these "terrorsist" are REAL dangerous too -- they had no weapons or exposives of any kind, no connections to Al Queda or anything -- just idle talk. The people we catch are always innocent.  It's the people we don't catch that are the threat, until we catch them.  Then it's not fair because we violated their civil liberties by listening to them as they plot to kill us.

Those fascists think they're so tough because they arrest people that are planning to kill us.  Planning involves talking, and talking is protected under the first ammendment.  We should only be allowd to arrest people after they do something bad.  If we do it before, we're as bad as the Taliban!

It involves three or four different countries and eight suspects who weren't in the US.  The main evidence so far seems to be "code words" in a chat room.  

But maybe they caught something here.  It will be interesting to see what happens when it goes to trial.  If it does.  Already this sounds like a really difficult case.

Taken as a whole, it's maybe more impressive than eight guys wearing Star-of-David armbands who ordered shoes from al-Qaeda.

I always question my government and review the evidence.  

There is no doubt that increased social spending helps the poor and minorites.  Just look at the evidence!

There is no doubt that ignoring Al Quaeda throughout the 90s made them fear and respect the USA.  Just look at the evidence!

There is no doubt that having the NEA control the Democrats has been great for education.  Look at the evidence!

There is no doubt that America wants partial birth abortion, higher taxes and a weak defense.  Look at the evidence!

You see!  I'm not some knee-jerk liberal who thinks we should be governed by ideals that have continually failed.  I'm like you guys.

Bush was warned 53 times about a terrorist attack like 9/11 in his first 9 mos in office. Clinton told him it would be the single most imprtant thing for him to pay attention to...

Yet he ignored all of it. He did nothing. He did ot even hold a single meeting.
