That was a murder. We all saw the video. So did juries who found Chauvin guilty of murder and the other officers guilty of manslaughter and/or civil rights violations.

Did you actually watch the whole video ?   The one from when he was in cuffs and having a hard time breathing prior to being in the ground?  When he worked himself up into a "tizzy" ?   People forget that whole part of the video.

So I'm still waiting for you to explain why Floyd wasn't murdered.

I'll settle in the middle with killed while being arrested.  I don't think there was any intention for Chauvin to take floyd's life while surrounded by dozens of people taking video of it.  

If you look at the video it's obvious what was happening. Chauvin knew Floyd was in trouble. Everyone else did and was yelling at him to relent. But Chauvin (based on this and other incidents in his past) is a sociopath. Not only did he have no empathy, he was damned if he was going to be forced by ANYONE to back down. So he kept kneeling on Floyd's neck until he was long past dead. Did he know it was all being video'd? Yes. Did he care? Nope. To me, that constitutes intention, albeit intention clouded by extreme sociopathy. Now he's right where he belongs.
If there was any justice, he'd be in there with Kyle and a few ICE thugs.
