...after shooting off his mouth on the USS Theodore Roosevelt.  He called Capt. Brett Crozier "stupid" while addressing the crew.  This was the same crew of almost 5,000 who cheered wildly for Crozier when he was leaving the aircraft carrier.

 
Why are there so many "acting" officials in the Trump administration?  Because they don't have to be confirmed by the Senate so Trump can appoint any unqualified idiot he wants...like Modly.  Trump says having acting appointees gives him "flexibility."  In reality, acting officials have less influence within their agencies and a harder time enacting policies.

Also, Trump likes people who have worse hair than he does.  Insecure weasel Modly tried to cover up his receding hairline with implants.  Fail!!

My feeling is that trump put him up to this. Flying what 8000 miles then getting on that blowhorn to rag on the captain all within 24hrs says this was staged. Using words like "Stupid, naive" just sounds like trump.The administration was embarrassed by this. And in his briefing, you can see he was in a control rage over this.
I'd sure want to see the timeline that led to this captains SOS call. Who got what and when.
That letter had to be the last resort to remedy a dire situation. I don't think it was his first call out. The captain just seems too polished to do this....the shit must have hit the fan

I think he simply succumbed to the atmosphere in the Trump Administration, where people mirror Trump's toxic and belligerent response to anything he doesn't like. You can go all the way back to Sean Spicer, right after the inauguration, raging that more people had attended it than ever before when that was obviously untrue. It's catching.
Yesterday, for example, Trump started blaming hospitals for not anticipating this and then complaining.
And yet the Trump-ites continue to march up, salute and say, "Please, sir, can I have some more" of his Turdburgers.
