The markets were hoping for peace but Trump still threatened to bomb Iranian power and desalination plants. Oil went to $105 per barrel. Nice job, Don!
...has stopped the shipping of one-third of the world's commercial helium. It's not just used for party balloons or to give you a high voice. Helium is used in the manufacture of microchips used in computers, vehicles and household appliances. Helium is also used to cool the magnets in MRI scanners used in hospitals.
The “lead balloon” declarations are only indicative of the bias of those proclaiming it
Markets again misread Trump’s Iran speech by taking him literally, not seriously. His “Stone Age” threats are leverage, not a base‑case plan. If credit markets truly believed him, the 10‑year Treasury yield would be well north of 4.5%; it sits closer to 4.37%. Objectives have essentially been achieved, so given the TDS saturating Wall Street and the media, last night’s emotional overreaction should surprise no one.
He can't accept that Trump's speech was badly received....which it clearly was....so now he's blaming the markets. This is a sure "tell" of a loser. An increasingly desperate one. Now cue up the troll's overused Arnold Palmer gif.
Trump’s speech was “badly received” because Wall Street and the media suffer from TDS. But if the speech was really that bad, Treasuries would be soaring. Figures that some TDS afflicted posters here would fail to mar the connection.
