Regrettably, it was the wrong Miranda.

Ok, I know it's a dumb joke, but I couldn't resist-------:)

Btw, Phil, picking up on a previous thread, the right DOES target people at their homes; crazed pro-life groups have given out home addresses of abortion providers. These people have had to endure being picketed, having angry mobs at their homes & being "stalked".

It seems that they captured a terror suspect in Somalia and they detained him for interrogation for two months aboard a navy ship.

I happen to think they were right in doing so, but what happened to the criminal justice system being able to handle this type of case.  Would anyone want to place a side bet on whether he was informed of his Miranda rights.

That was good.  I have made far worse jokes.

As to right to life nuts, I have always said there are nuts on both sides of the fence and that there are good and bad on both sides. I don't need the one or two nuts who shot a docton in the last 40 years.  That is deminimus.

But a few isolated incidents from fringe groups is nothing compared to unions authorizing and busing in people.  When organizations of a million strong are promoting an action and helping bus people in, you have to recognize that is it not a fringe group, but a fair representation of a significant portion of the other side.

If it is not a fair representation then the 1,000,000 members have to say, "Wait. Don't do this with our money."
