Contrary to your misleading headline, COVID cases in Oklahoma are among the lowest in the country by just about every metric you can measure them by.

"Covid spiking in Tulsa county but Trump rally won't require masks. However..."
Tulsa isn't the best place to have this event, should have gone to Grant county instead.
And Oklahoma is so rural, of course it has to be one of the lowest. If it isn't then there's something very wrong.
This covid is just catching up to OK...in time it might be like Arizona.

On Wednesday, Oklahoma recorded 259 new cases, a single-day record for the second day in a row, and three days before President Trump is scheduled to hold an indoor campaign rally in Tulsa in defiance of his administration’s guidelines for “phased reopening.”

"U.S. states struggle with a shifting pandemic as federal guidance falls silent.

The federal government’s leadership in the coronavirus pandemic has so waned that state and local health officials have been left to figure out on their own how to handle rising infections and navigate conflicting signals from the White House.

Covid-19 is still taking about 800 American lives a day — a pace that, if sustained over the next few months, would yield more than 200,000 total dead by the end of September. Arizona, Florida, Nevada, Oregon and Texas all reported their largest one-day increases in new cases this week."

And a record number of cases in Oklahoma for the last two days in a row.

you come out on; 1) implement COVID guidelines, or 2) allow mother nature to take its course.

Trump's inability to handle the difficult issues is again front and center, and on clear display for all to see.  From; 1) waiting too long to take action, 2) refusing to instruct his cabinet to do the job the federal government is expected to do on PPE, 3) then a reversal on ventilators and PPE after being unable to take the pressure of governors,  4) then finally agreeing to allow the CDC to publish COVAD guidelines, 5) then beating his chest, insisting he will order the governors to do as he says, 6) only to back down, when he realizes, he can NOT legally do so, 7) then having buyer's remorse and encouraging protestors to violate/protest against Trump's own COVAD guidelines, 8) then ordering the stockpiling of 63 million doses of hydroxychloroquine which are now useless, AFTER our tax dollars were wasted, 9) the disinfectant/UV light fiasco, as always, could go on and on, there IS so much more!

This is only one critical issue that faced our nation and as always Trump failed miserably and his followers were ok with it all and tried to use weak, lame, Obama comparisons to give Trump's ineptness cover.

Should be clear to all, this is a ploy, Trump uses over and over again.  Trump continues to bounce from one miscalculation to another, many intentionally self-inflicted errors, simply to divert attention away from his most recent, prior, screw up.  Why are we all, NOT screaming at the top of our lungs, that this must stop?

No wonder world leaders are looking at our nation much differently than with any other administration in our nation's history!  Our credibility, on the international stage, as long as Trump is president, is sorely lacking.
