Someone recently said,"Too bad you cannot name one Israeli city that was "destroyed." "

To draw a parallel... then I guess that since not one single city in the United States was ever destroyed by the Axis of WWII, then our retaliation was severely disproportionate.

are also Mr. Neutron because the thought of two people being this dumb is frightening. Mr. Neutron said that in the recent war with Hezbollah, several Israeli cities were "destroyed." I was asking which ones. I know that the rightwing method of debate is to just make shit up, but I don't play that game.

As reported by News Hound...

"...In a tactic revealed by the movie Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism, George W. Bush used the "some say" comment to insinuate a point without providing facts to back it up..."

So cough up, GFD. Who is this someone who recently said, "Too bad you cannot name one Israeli city that was "destroyed"?

Or like Fox News (I use the term 'News" advisedly here), did you just make this up out of whole cloth?

Recue the tape...Neutron said:
"Hezbollah launched over 13,000 rockets into Israel.  I guess they all missed."

That is not a claim of destruction of whole cities, but IS a claim that there must have been "some" destruction and injury.

YOUR response was "similar" to what the media and Europeans kept saying that the destruction of vast areas of Lebanon was a disporportionate response to the Hezbuhlah attacks.

I was merely pointing out that disproportionate responses were quite common in history.

See Bender's thread right above.

Where did the missles land?  How many buildings need to be demolished before you call it "destroyed"?  How many refugees do there have to be?  When it's Israel it really has to be a shitload I guess.

Keep stunning us with your brilliance.

Instead of talking about complete destruction(didn't happen on either side)it's more realistic to talk of significantly damaged cities. On the Israeli side: Kiryat Shmoneh and Nahariya!

BTW, can you mention which Lebanese cities were destroyed?

of kindergartners. Neutron's exact quote was, "Where is the film an (sic)interviews in the destroyed Israeli cities?"

I'm sure that your response will be to make something else up. That's OK. We all know the truth.

a thread. In fact I am surprised that you can even read. Read his original post, genius. Like a true rightwinger, he simply changed his position in the rebuttal. I simply brought it back. As I said before, I don't play those rightwinger games. Everybody knows you are lying.

of children here. I didn't say any Lebanese city was destroyed. It is you rightwingers who argue with lies and hyperbole. I guess that it is just too much to ask that you back up the things you pull out of your ass.

you know, so contrary that they are compelled to contradict that the sky is blue and the Sun is bright.

I can't let this go on any longer... My last post here got "lost" so this may end up a duplicate.

OK here goes...

I WAS AGREEING WITH YOU!!!! I quoted YOU in order to make a point...a totally different point than you or Neutron addressed. If you re-read my original post it may become clear, but I doubt it. I couldn't care less what You or Neutron said or didn't say about rockets or destruction. That was never the point, but Nooooo, you assumed it had to be all about you. Maybe your just narcissistic.
