as I have never met a true Liberal who isnt full of hate. They hate everything and everybody who dosent agree with them. They are also the most unhappy people Ive ever met.
Everything is our fault. Everything. If I was a liberal I'd shoot myself as things will never be good and its' completely OUR fault. We are responsible for everything that has ever gone wrong in the world by and large.

They dont comprehend or appreciate the things we've accomplished as a country.

If you question this, and you should, ask yourself 'When was the last time a liberal said something nice about our country?"
See...told you!

The bigger question in my mind is simply this:
How much of this will change when the Democrats install their chosen puppet in January '09.

No, I do NOT think the GOP has a snowballs chance in Hell of winning the next Presidential election if it is held honestly and with integrity. The last election they won without cheating outright was in 1988. And that was only because Mike Dukakis was such a wrong choice to begin with, I have sometimes suspected he was installed as Dem #1 to INSURE a Bush victory in 1988. What can I tell you, I'm forever the cynic when it comes to the swill of politics.

That's MY take on it.
Peace Out

Perhaps if you and your fellow right wing haters would come out of the shadows and try  for a positive message instead of your insistent and consistent vitriol about the evils of liberal progressive thinking, then true progressive minded individuals like I believe myself to be wouldn't look down on you like you were something stuck to the bottom of our shoes.

That's MY take on it.
Peace Out

I mean seriously.... I can apply all 14 of these statements of yours to a broad spectrum of political scumbags on both sides of the aisle, K Street, Wall Street and everyone not named Della Street.

We both know they're all so full of shit Harry. Not a damned one of 'em cares a whit about you or me once out ballot is cast.

Better we go out there and spend our energy making love to the ladies.

That's MY plan!
Piece's of Ass in 2008!

You are correct. The politicians are like snake oil salesmen and their focus is on getting re-elected and feeding their sick egos.
Good to see you back Doc. Stay in the saddle and ride like hell!! Happy New Year to you!!

1.  In a time of national emergency, go overseas and defame your homeland, burn the flag and threaten to denounce citizenship and/or move out of the country
2.  Uphold the rights of criminals over their victims, expose classified surveillance to make the game fair or give advantage to the enemy
3.  Blame America first, opine that all the problems of the world are because of our evil ways
4.  Loathe the military, especially in a time of war, muddle their war efforts and strategies, spit on returning soldiers or refer to them as terrorists
5.  Pervert the institution of marriage, promote abortion as a first choice, euthenasia, smash familty values, promote class ad racial hostility
6.  Controlled Mass Media
7.  Bury head in sand and pretend terrorism is a regional issue, appease and capitulate when confronted
8.  Deny God exists, attack believers, control their freedom to assemble and restrict their freedom to speak and display
9.  Attack the fundamentals of commerce, overtax industry, destroy wealth, transfer the burden of the state to the backs of the job creators,
10.  Rely on Labor's campaign funding even though rank & file has no choice about making contributions, create an environment where organized labor acts like a parasite to a fish, sucking all away until the host dies,
11. Disdain for the middle class, white-anglo saxon male, promote reverse discrimination and quota based hiring, creating lower standards for unfit personnel.
12.  Obsession with criminals rights and disdain for decent behavior
13.  Rampant Cronyism and Corruption
14.  Litigate to overturn election and referendum results

I'm supposing that you don't identify things like:
"disdain for human rights" as a Republican trait. Does it seem too close to you?

Whatever else it was, it wasn't Fascism. It didn't even lean toward that. If it did, after eight years of Clinton, there definitely wouldn't be brave people free to say it was a fascist government.

IMO-- Koresh and Weaver brought those horrors on themselves by treating the government as though it were Fascist. You can make any brush with the law, even jaywalking, into a fascist moment if you're bent enough. If you treat a traffic cop as though he's a fascist, you could come away with a little more than a bloody nose.

Militias got organized and were operating within days after Clinton got into power. Incredible how they all disappeared once a Republican became POTUS. (Of course, they came out from the cold and formed Blackwater.) And how do you like that? After eight years totalitarian rule, Clinton steps down. Whew! What a close brush with fascism that was. Thank goodness for our militias, who tore down the statue of Clinton and whitewashed the huge pictures from the warehouse walls.

It's a good thing people like you stood up to der Furor Clinton.

You're full of shit. You have always been full of shit, and you will always be full of shit. You live in an outhouse hole, probably hiding from the Fascist Clintonistas. That is my humble opinion of you.

Your completely off the wall, Zin.  Waco & Ruby ridge were just a couple quick examples where the clinton admin stepped on their junk in some of the most horrible acts of inhumanity and the disregard for HUMAN RIGHTS of US citizens.

The first was because of an error of the courts and the zealotry of the Clintons and the FBI to go after a family who simply chose to ignore their government, the second was again an example of the iron fist against its citizens for simply making a stand against the government.  I think they are perfect examples really, considering if the UN were responsible for the arrest of Koresh, they would still be issuing strong condemnations and worthless resolutions that people like you preferred with Saddam, Kim Jong, et al.  Instead, AG Reno, who required those addressing her to use the precursor "General" at all times was not going to stand for someone giving the finger to the federal gov.

Walking piece of shit, Cindy Sheehan, made a fool of herself and camped outside of Bush's house...was she shot/arrested/jailed or harrassed?  No, just ignored like she should have been.

Would have you been screaming in the streets when FDR locked up Japanese, Hawiian, German and Philipino citizens and denied due process???? Thousands of them and for years, whole families....Where's your rage??

Militias were around long before clinton took office, btw.  Two very extreme and dangerous militias where in neighboring states of Minnesota.  I think the next time you go googling for facts, you'll find a hell of a lot of militia activity during the carter and reagan years, they just weren't scared of them, nor did they act of expunge them like clinton.  The militia movement is alive and well, don't shit yourself...and their not fond of the patriot act either!

The guy that founded blackwater was more worried about his acne and chasing puss after football games when clinton was in office..

Of course I live in a hole in the ground, I'm a redneck living in a red state, that's the kind of people us repubs are according to you and your ilk.  I didn't pay my way through 5 years of college during the Reagan years and I'm not responsible for more than 30 people depending on my corporate greed to keep my business profitable and their wages and benefits paid.

You're a bitter and pathetic individual who doesn't have a pot to piss in and even though your a fucking expert on everything from economics, science, religion to politics you can't pull your head out of your ass and straighten your life out.  Why don't you devote as much time to bettering yourself as you do trying to win an argument with a bunch of anonymous guys on a prostitution website?

Just spend half of the rest of this day jerking off (or looking at porn or the hookers you'd love to fuck if you just had the money) and the other half by looking for a job!

I believe there would have been a different response   to Koresh or Weaver being out there than Cindy Sheehan. Especially if they were practicing their Second Amendment right keep and bear arms.

It's hard to make sense of your sentiment in this paragraph:

"I think they are perfect examples really, considering if the UN were responsible for the arrest of Koresh, they would still be issuing strong condemnations and worthless resolutions that people like you preferred with Saddam, Kim Jong, et al.  Instead, AG Reno, who required those addressing her to use the precursor "General" at all times was not going to stand for someone giving the finger to the federal gov."

So, let me get this straight: the Clinton administration was Fascist because it took action against Weaver and Koresh. But, you say, if the UN were in charge then, it would meekly issue resolutions and condemnations, in other words, respect Weaver and Koresh's freedoms and merely criticize them. Yet you hold the UN in contempt too, because they are not forceful enough . . .

I think your respect for rights is limited by your need to bully.

Where is my rage about Roosevelt locking up Japanese, Hawains, Filipinos and such? For one thing, objection is impossible due to the fact I was born much too late. I guess that's no excuse in your book. What do you want me to do? Agitate to have them freed? See how current candidates stand on the issue?

None of this is sane reasoning. No, I don't think you're a redneck in a red state-- I think you're a bully plain and simple. I've always thought that. Whatever else you've accomplished in business, that trumps any positive impression I have of you. I can't stand bullies. I pretty much think that given a choice between respecting rights and exercise of power, the bully will always prefer the exercise of power.

Dubya is a bully, too, in my book. Which, IMO, is much of the reason that we're in Iraq.

Really, I don't care what you think of me. Or how your bad impressions of me have multiplied in your mind. For a while there, the only time you'd ever post would be to criticize me. It tells me you think my opinions are important, and that you're willing to post on a "prostitutes board" to challenge them.

I'm just glad you've chosen what you believe is a waste of time.

of which I do not believe the Bush admin is, nor did I ever state that the clintons were either, I simply put up a posting from AA, then countered it with 14 things that I believe have all recently been practiced by democtrats at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Maybe you should take the blinders off when you read a posting.

Since you stated that they were qualities of "a modern democrat" I suppose you know of at least one who has all those qualities. So, who is this bonifide democrat you have in mind? And how many friends does he have that also fit this bill.

Or was it just a lie? Trying to one-up Air America.

At least Air America says "of fascists" and makes a comparison/contrast. They score points if that list was compiled before the Bush administration took office. Actually, I'm quite surprised they left at least one off the list that scared me.

No, Bush not a Fascist, but he accidentally did his best impression. I will say there's a real difference in his administration now that Carl Rove has left. It is like the Shadow being banished from Mordor. Or Tom DeLay resigning from the House. Not that I believe those guys shared too many qualities with Sauron . . .
